Well, No Code in Glasgow are the developers of the game. I guess in this instance, they can just replace their publisher. Although I'm in the dark here until an update is presented on what their next step is.

But our Silent Hill: Townfall. Damn it! 😠

To hell with this. 💔

I'm glad some companies still develop old-school horror games. Hollowbody was released today, in fact.

I sold a copy a while back, and got like £400 in cash. 😅

There's actually a "Don't be a casual wimp" type mode that turns off the UI. It means as you explore the environment, you won't see any RE4-esque numbers indicating where the next door is that you need to go to. 🚪
Who added that in the first place? Seriously. I don't need my hand held in a horror game. 🤭

I should be quitting YouTube, but I am more of a watcher than a content creator. You cannot get noticed on there anyway. They rig the set up so only the big channels can gain views. You can add tags and all that, but it's pointless.
Nobody cares about vloggers with no editorial skills either. If you just fire on a webcam, or point your phone at the table and just talk out loud about something you wish to rant over, without the need to make it look gloriously presentable in HD, it doesn't seem to even matter how sincere you are. Nobody cares.
But look at this guy. Yeah, he whines a lot. He acts like he's important. All the same, he still speaks the truth to a degree.
YouTube has become like the PG era WWE crap. Not to mention all the jobless e-beggers and nerds acting so entitled. Like if you don't pledge cash or make your presence felt when they start broadcasting, they tell you to get to stepping at the first chance they get. Even if you were previously friendly to them for months, or years, typing out comments and donating money, or becoming a paid member. They more or less spit in your face. And I stopped supporting many a channel once they surrended their dignity for clicks.
It's like when I was telling people on forums in the past about how Capcom was clearly copying Silent Hill and RE4 for RE8, with the mannequins being like the evil nurses, the creepy house being in first person, and just about every plot detail from RE4 being cut and pasted, it was all presented with video evidence. Then I recall I got nothing but excuses. Some dumb, pointless damage control replies about how they were just unsure of whether they were ripping off other games I mentioned. They were like, "Oh, thesaunderschild, Capcom was uh, just paying homage". And "Oh, we aren't in the same room seeing them at work, so we can't judge the devs" and that kind of nonsense. So I just decided to stop doing it.
It was so dumb, it actually stopped making me mad, and became a bit on the amusing side for a change. I more or less just started to see the bigger picture, and laughed at how silly it ended up being, with these loyal puppets. That the pack like mentality of the sheepfold always tops all, even if you feel like you're saying correct stuff. And I also provided back up for confirmation. They still try to move the goal posts.
Yes. Criticism is subjective. Nobody has to agree, as you are stating an opinion, and you don't always win people over with your words. But here is the thing: If you provide solid proof, then isn't it kind of pointless to refute something when the writing is already on the wall? But my God. It was like trying to turn yeast into gold talking to them.
I feel this man's anguish. I really do. Because it seems like he worked hard to get his channel growing for a long time, just to see it all slip away. If he gave up being a YouTuber tomorrow, I wouldn't blame him. Because this era is pretty sad with Google being so biased.

Fruit, or horror Blu-rays from Fopp or HMV.

My friend Frank was gonna give me a cracking bike the other day. However, I have no road sense. The traffic free paths are not particularly close to where I live either. And his house is several miles from my area.
The nearest railway path is the Shawfair to Roslin one that goes through Straiton and Loanhead, but you'd never be done hitting your bell for people getting in your road. It's probably quieter at the Penicuik to Dalkeith route near Edinburgh Road. There's a viaduct and you're not far from Rosslyn Chapel.
I do miss a good bike ride, though.

In Scotland, the language is way worse.
Ah dinnae even ken um.
That's healthy, likes.
Cannae kick a baw.
Translated:
I don't know even him, or them.
That's good, eh?
Cannot kick a ball.

I don't understand why drivers toot angrily at other drivers caught in a traffic line like themselves. I get that it's holding people back being stuck there, but it's not gonna make the traffic move any faster by being a jerk.
Another thing I hate is when it rains and the water gathers at the edge of the road. Some drivers being idiots, intentionally drive through it to soak pedestrians. Okay for them sitting in their nice warm automobile, huh? 😅

I had thought about giving up all meat except for fish. Salmon is the best.
If you like tuna, it's best to buy it in spring water than in brine or oil. But the oils they use are generally fine.

There's a cheap chocolate bar for only 60p in Day Today stores. Has almonds and raisins. It may be cheap, but I think it's nice.
It's still kind of processed, though. Milk chocolate is always very sugary, and probably doesn't yield the health benefits of eating ordinary dark chocolate.

I think Green and Black is a great brand. The more cocoa, the healthier the option. Like 70 to 85% is best. Not too much sugar.
There's a chocolate shop at Bruntsfield in Edinburgh and they have it spiced, fruity, plain, or made to your liking.

These days, nothing. I remember Aeros, Mars and Quality Street tasting better years ago. Then they added in more sugar to mask the changes to them. Just so sugary in taste now. Not nice.

Maybe 90 or 100. Capcom will have remade every mainline RE game at least four times by then, keeping them as faithful as they can. Zero cut content. 🤗
What could be more exciting than living decades more to see all of that? The afterlife can wait. 😛

My sister had her daughter (her fourth child) on Friday, the 23rd. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of her solicitor, social workers put her baby into foster care the following Monday afternoon.
They enjoy making up lies, mucking people about, and they also caused our late mum to be stressed out. But what can you do when they call the shots? 🥴
It's all pretty meh. They did the same thing with her son in 2022, and her two previous sons. Her second ex partner is a "player" and just drinks and arses about. He even admitted he put their son up for adoption, yet my sister ran back to him.
Poorly played. I wouldn't wanna date a person if they were being abusive to me, telling lies, seeing other women, and so on. I'd take off, my dignity intact, but my heart shattered.

What I'm more interested about is seeing the series resolve the unfinished storylines. To me, Billy Coen's character, in particular, deserves closure.
He had been going to feature in the series called Infinite Darkness, before they selected Leon. That's probably because Leon is in all the animated stuff so far.
I'm hopeful he'll be back someday. Billy never did spill the beans to Rebecca about what really happened in Africa. So that's why I think he needs to return.
I also wonder about Nicholai. There's that alternate path where Jill can spare him, so he flies off. It would be nice if Capcom could develop a mini site or something, dedicated to revealing small things that need cleared up, like if they aren't willing to do a game to cover everything. You know?
A website of canonical fiction would be fine. Then it would at least be put to rest, since even Capcom has been too lazy to return to certain plot aspects. Or maybe it's just that they prefer to stick to the characters that make them the big dough, like Leon and Chris.

I like to go for a walk. It is getting a bit chilly at night, so by the autumn, I will probably just be going to local stores.
It does your nut in being indoors all the time, so I go out and listen to YouTubers talking about games. Or I pop on some music.

I've never played God Hand, but it's a pity Shinji has gave up on survival horror gaming. No doubt for good this time.
I guess being a proper gentleman, he doesn't want to have too much of a go at Capcom for turning the Resident Evil series he created into complete horse manure, since 2009 or so. But then of course, Tango Gameworks went bust thanks to Microsoft laying off their subsidaries, so fans of The Evil Within games were left disappointed recently as well. So maybe he has just had enough of the shift in gaming today. And that's understandable. 🤤

Twice as long? Do share more.
The original could be completed in under 5 hours. So I think Bloober Team deserves more appreciation.

Annapurna Interactive seems to have folded!

It may not necessarily be all bad news, because I think Annapurna Interactive aims to still fulfill the games they are contracted to, so they can be marketed. But they will likely continue under a new banner elsewhere.
