  1. I always start off with default. I am not even sure I've ever switched to a difficult mode for playing? If I'm playing for entertainment, which I normally am, then why stress myself out with too hard of a setting?
  2. I would just use my android emulator and play the mobile version. I think that the mobile versions are better anyway but having the emulator I can play on my computer or the mobile. But I prefer to play on my computer.
  3. When my daughter was younger and we played games I would kind of let some of the rules just slip. I didn't care about winning as much as she did. Sometimes if her dice ended up weird I'd just let her roll again instead of demanding she take what was mostly showing on top.
  4. That's what I was thinking too! After I had surgery years ago, I was in the hospital for a week and couldn't bathe but they allowed me to clean up using cleansing cloths. I still reeked! If I wasn't active I could probably go without bathing for a month but wow, I'd be rubbing some type of scent all over to mask the smell.
  5. I like reality fixer upper type shows for Home Improvement. But in terms of entertainment reality shows I like watching the US's Big Brother. A new season started last week and although I haven't seen every season, this one looks pretty good so far. What I like about this one is that you never know who will win until the end and it's fun to guess.
  6. I think the ChaCha Slide is one dance that I would be tempted to get on the floor and dance to. It's easy to learn the moves and you don't end up looking drunk or like a fool. Line dances like that are in a group so everyone feels connected in a way.
  7. Well, the bad guys don't care if guns are legal...so guns are always going to be around. The gang members and drug dealers aren't about to turn their guns in and are happy when law abiding citizens can't defend themselves. There's always a risk when carrying a gun or using it.
  8. Did you post the links to those bills earlier? I must have missed them. I'm not exactly sure what those bills entail and I know that social media can distort the truth about what bills actually state. So I'd prefer to read them myself first before responding.
  9. The speakers we had were only about 8" tall. Now I have my laptop hooked up to a receiver and our stereo speakers and they're about 30" tall! That's enough to blast the entire neighborhood!
  10. We aren't really sports people but there are times when we do like to sit down and watch a big championship or tournament. When the Chicago Bulls had Michael Jordan on the team (his early days and then his return after retirement), we would watch almost every game we could! That was really exciting for us and we had some friends over at times to hang out and watch. Other than basketball, I like watching women's gymnastics and that's because my daughter was really good at gymnastics. If we had the money back then I would have had her in competitions, but it's way too expensive to get into that scene.
  11. I have to have complete silence when I try to fall asleep, so to answer No. I admit that music is very soothing and helps me to relax though. I just can't fall asleep to it. Or the TV! I think with music my brain wants to keep listening which is why I can't doze off to it.
  12. The Flintstones The Jetsons Magilla Gorilla Scooby Doo Bugs Bunny Popeye The Pink Panther Fat Albert...anyone see that one?
  13. I have a glider that is similar to a rocking chair but glides smoothly that is the most comfortable seat in the house. Whenever we have guests over I always offer that one to them and even tell them it's the most comfortable place to sit! I should have bought the matching ottoman because a year or two later when I wanted it, it was no longer to be found. I have noticed that the cushion needs more stuffing so I might open it up and add some fiberfill to it someday to keep it nice and plump.
  14. Some of the books being given as examples of CRT are pretty racist themselves in that they teach that one race is the one that is racist against the others. Hmm...pointing out that the color of the skin makes someone more or less superior is the problem so why are they trying to point out skin color and make the divide even worse? It wasn't too long ago that we were told to stop looking at color and now that's all we're told to do is look at color.
  15. I haven't played the Monopoly Bingo game yet but I do enjoy some of the Bingo games. It's just hard for me to get too into it unless I'm totally bored. I guess the thought of playing and not doing anything strategic but relying on luck along with the fact that you don't win real money or prizes can get pretty monotonous after a while. There used to be a Bingo game about a decade ago that offered real prizes but my internet connection was too slow to try to gain the win before anyone else would call Bingo!
  16. My husband and I bought our first PC in 1990 when we first got married. We were introduced to games like Doom, Wolfenstein and other similar games a few years later. I remember my husband was playing games the night I went into labor in 1993! Of course he had to play those games with the speakers turned up full blast!
  17. My daughter liked to play a Spongebob game that she would rent often from the video store. I thought it was pretty unique in how it was supposed to be played as well as it being fun like the cartoon that we watched all the time. The graphics were a little funky at time and it wasn't as smooth as watching a cartoon so I suppose it could have had some improvements in that area.
  18. My nephew was obsessed with Sonic games! I remember him playing Sonic Mania a lot but I think I enjoyed watching him play Sonic the Hedgehog the first one the most. His dad was a big gamer and spent way too much money buying games for him and his kids to play. What I liked about the game was that it was easy for kids to play and hard enough for some adults to play too.
  19. I guess some of my friends were really fortunate to score the PS5s at Christmastime and I don't even know what time of day they had to get into the stores to make that a reality. I know it was during one of the big sales though that I saw posts on Facebook about their excitement of finding them. Now are games for the platform hard to find as well?
  20. Any type of killing game intimidates me. I much prefer kid friendly type games but I don't like them to be completely dumbed down. I like games where you need to have strategy to move forward but also a little bit of skill to make it difficult enough to hold my interest. If something jumps out at me and tries to finish me off then that's not the game for me.
  21. Growing up the only one nearby was an hour away and it was Marriott's Great America. Then the name changed and I think it's Six Flags now. That was the only place to go but it was awesome even though you stood in line for 2 hours to ride some of the rides. I've been to Disney World and enjoy the parks there but it's way too expensive and crowded. If I ever have a grandchild I'll force myself to return though!
  22. I don't have anxiety but I do relax by playing silly type of kids games. I prefer family oriented over any killing game and there are times when I enjoy strategy type games but mostly I like ones where you aren't timed to do anything and don't have to worry about losing a life. I currently don't have a gaming system set up in the house but I play games using BlueStacks on my computer and my favorites are My Singing Monsters and Zombie Castaway. There was one called Guinea Pig Bridge that was fun at first but you have to really think many moves ahead to get through the levels and that wasn't how I wanted to spend my mornings while waking up 🙂
