You can't trust anyone. Whether it's an individual, group, or corporation is irrelevant. Having faith in or trusting anyone will only cause you to get screwed. It's a short matter of time until you're abandoned and/or stabbed in the back. It's a fools wish. Don't let yourself get sucked in by lies and false promises. Save yourself the torment, and drop your faith in humanoid creatures.

I'd rather they don't go down this road although they seem to be already but I love being able to customize the hell out of my character.

Character customization is definitely a thing that can be monetized. I think needs to be in all games. 

Being able to customize your character and most importantly their gender. And yeah I agree on offline play especially in a single player game.

I think offline play is one that needs to be in modern game. Because we are often better off playing with AI instead of real people some of the times. 

Great example, and it is super annoying when a franchise actually regresses in this regard. Enemies should not be unnaturally intelligent, but they should at least have competitive intelligence.
That's so true. This is something I always laugh about when playing Skyrim. Combat is usually very mindless. "Turn in general direction of enemy. Start pushing buttons."

That's exactly what I meant. I think we're talking about the same thing. This is what I fear happening:
-I am low on resources.
-I decide to keep going.
-The game autosaves on me.
-I NEED a critical resource.
-I have no manual saves, so I can't go back. I am stuck forever.
If I am worried about that happening, that is precisely when I'll die on purpose or reload just so  I can try again to get the resources before the game reaches the next checkpoint and screws me.

If I get stuck on something and haven't saved in a while, that I absolutely can't figure out, I'll kill myself just so I can restart from the last time I saved, so that hopefully I can figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do.

It's almost like a what-if scenario where law and order were mainly decided by the citizens instead of the government.

Hahah, yeah. Mostly entertaining to me though, because it seems clear that GTA is a tongue-in-cheek satire, and thus a criticism on such real-life things, in an ironic way.

Batman Arkham Origins multiplayer component was a shitshow to put it politely compared to the single-player mode. It was full of bugs and glitches - some of which they managed to fix but it was still crap irregardless. It's one of the primary reasons why the game has such a bad reputation compared to the rest of the Arkham series.

Doom 2016 was kinda a waste of time compared to the single player portion. Just didn't feel like it was proper Doom.
On the other hand I feel the Call of Duty games have always had great multiplayer. There's a reason it became a saying that nobody bought CoD games for the single player.

One of my chihuahuas keeps trying to breed my pitbull. But most of the time he’s trying at the wrong end. He’s neutered and she’s spayed so he can try all he wants, but he’s not gonna have any success. The funniest thing is that she looks at me and I can see in her eyes that she’s wondering if biting his dick off would do anything since being neutered apparently didn’t.

My partner is mostly into console games and our tastes are fairly different so we don't really play much together, if at all. I do play a lot of games with @kira1331 who is my partner as well though (polyamorous relationship) so it does help having a partner who is as much of a gamer as you. Heck she was the one who gifted me a Nintendo Switch.

The ones I always use are the ones that enable the game to utilize more than the usual RAM it uses so it can take full advantage of more powerful systems without crashing. I also love mods that just fix most of the bugs in the game and makes it run better on modern systems. There's also a bunch of cosmetic mods that enhance the in-game models.

@kingpotato was mentioning he can't afford a PS Plus subscription, and I started to wonder how many people here do and don't have gaming subscriptions. For those of you who do pay for them, which ones do you have, and which do you feel give you the best bang for your buck? For those who don't, what stops you aside from simply not having the money to subscribe?
I’ve never had a gaming service subscription, but I think in my case it probably just doesn’t make a lot of sense—and not just because I’m a generation behind. I tend to play mostly large open world games, and it just makes more sense to spend a few bucks to buy them used and own them than to pay for a subscription service I won’t get that much use from.

Top 10 franchises I am a fan of (or loyal to if you wanna use the term):

I wouldn't say I am loyal to any game franchise either, though there are some franchises where I collect all the games, even the bad ones.

For me I would say I'm loyal to The Legend Of Zelda. Granted there are several that I flat out don't like. Wind Waker was too cartoony, Twilight Princess was just annoying with the whole wolf bullshit and the forced ability cutaways, Skyward Sword wasn't even a Zelda game. Those 3 I don't play. But aside from them, I'm a die hard fan, and have beaten almost every other Zelda game with just a few exceptions. I haven't beaten Oracle Of Seasons/Ages, Minish Cap, and BOTW. But that's because I just got into playing them recently. Older games from NES through N64 I have beaten. I did beat 4 Swords on GameCube as well, even though it wasn't really a true Zelda game either. But then again, neither was Majoras Mask, and I played the hell out of it. I'm not counting ROM-Hacks in this list. I have 2 out of the 3 that are available on SNES, and the games are so god damn hard I honestly wonder even IF I'll ever beat them.

4. date hot girls which you can't in real life.
