Finished Resident Evil Village and now back to tinkering around with Cuphead and FTL.

It definitely straddles the line between several genres, for sure. And you’re right; it’s not a straight up horror game per se. Still, I think it’s horror/action ratio is quite similar to, say, modern Resident Evil. (it’s got that zombie/infected vibe going on.) But, yeah, when I think of horror games it’s not one that jumps into my mind straightaway. (That’s probably why I overlooked it.)

Somehow I forgot my favourite game of all time: The Last Of Us. I deserve a smack on the ol’ behind!

Hah, misread it and thought the question was "What franchise do you wish would have a sequel made...". And I went for Silent Hill. In regards to the OP, I'd probably go for Assassin's Creed. (Though I quite liked Odyssey tbh.)

It's pretty fun. You definitely need to be using mics, or at least using the message function. To be honest, after a while, it does lose its lustre a bit. But a decent, unique experience nonetheless.

Good score! The orc and Uruk-hai captains were some of the hardest questions, for sure! Lots of folks got Merry and Pippin mixed up as well.

I’d be down for this. Obviously, I’d probably prefer a bigger and more experienced team to handle such a beloved IP. But I think Bloober Team are pretty decent and have a proven track record for mid-tier first-person horror titles. Personally, I really liked Layers Of Fear.

As I get older, I find my reactions are dwindling for fast-paced FPS games. That said, I still have a soft spot for COD, even though I'm not very good! You can still glean enjoyment from games you're bad at. (At least, that's what I keep telling myself!)

Yeah, that's fair. Some of the eBay prices are exorbitant! I especially hate those cheeky sellers who are selling PS5s for ridiculous amounts, only to send the buyers a photo of their own PS5! Absolutely scandalous!
