  1. At this point in time in the gaming industry, all the big studios are going round and round copying each other, it's hardly a surprise anymore, that's one of the reasons I keep my eye on indie devs nowadays. πŸ˜‰
  2. well I used to do long naps in the daytime, when I played until early morning, but now I just do short naps in the daytime. πŸ˜‰ yeah, sometimes the pacing of a slow movie will do that to you, but you won't fall asleep as much if you are actually doing something with your hands like moving the mouse, WASD, or mashing the controller. 😁
  3. True, ads can be annoying like that, maybe it'd be fine for me if the ads were at the start of an episode, and then at the end of an episode... maybe even one in the middle too, or placed appropriately at the right moment.
  4. once upon a time, I used to play text based MMORPG's then I remember fantasizing about a complex merchant-political system... Then I realized how complicated that would be, and I thought that would just remain a pipe dream. πŸ˜… although I think one day something like that could still be implemented in a game of any kind, just maybe not in the way I imagined.
  5. I don't really think 3D tech has anymore to improve, as AR/VR is the tech path that is being followed now, it's better. Also it's still quite a young tech, but with 3D type tech I'm not sure if we could do anything anymore with it. πŸ€”
  6. This makes me think of the story of Assassin's Creed, I'm not really sure that they could pull off the same story mechanic with gameplay at this point, because it would become clichΓ©? Or maybe a copy and paste reskin template. πŸ€” Hmmm...
  7. I'm not sure if VR for stray would be quite a good idea, but I think I'll have to see it first before I judge if it's good. 😎 There are too little epic VR games at the moment. πŸ€”
  8. these are my thoughts exactly, I just wish owners of a game that existed could get a discount on just a remaster version though. 😐
  9. I remember loving this trailer a lot... The Ezio arc of the Assassin's Creed was truly the best storyline of all. I also remember being hyped about the Assassin's Creed movie, but it turned out to be just okay, not highly epic though. 😐
  10. I used to play games until the early hours of the morning before, but now I don't do that as much, as sleeping before midnight is decidedly more healthy. 😎
  11. @StaceyPowers maybe you could post a screenshot or image, to better show what you mean in general... πŸ˜‰ but for me, I never really though character designs were bad in the games I have played, although... I might not have played too many games yet. 🀣
  12. well formally, my week starts at monday, but I actually consider sunday as the week start, just a personal preference. πŸ˜‰
  13. Life is strange is one of the best time travel mechanics I'd played, though there are others too, that are great. I've heard so much about time chrono trigger as a classic game, I think I'll have to "pull the trigger" and try it out sometime I think. 😁 @kane99 you can check out deathloop too, now that is some definite time travel to advance the plot. πŸ˜‰ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1252330/DEATHLOOP/
  14. I'm also waiting to see what their next move will be, as I'm interested in how these big companies move their chess pieces. also adding ads doesn't sound that bad to me as I'm used to that on YouTube. (I turned my adblocker off, so my favorite creators can get revenue lol) πŸ˜‚
  15. I remember reading a very long blog post before, from someone who played eve online for a time, and got very tangled up in "space" politics, clan warfare, and pirate griefing. I must say the whole read was quite enjoyable and read like a sci fi novel. πŸ˜‰
  16. haha, a potato indeed... that is truly an old GPU anyway... πŸ₯”πŸ₯”πŸ₯” maybe it could run at minimum settings too. thanks, I'll see if the mobile game is any worth looking into. 😁
  17. hmmm, somehow reminds me of the TvTropes,: Shoot the dog. sometimes there are things that just gotta be done. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜’ https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShootTheDog
  18. wow, we got a superhero right here lol. 😁 anyway, if it were up to me and it was only truly one, well... the child would be my pick. unless he was 200KG though. πŸ€”
  19. I trained a lot of monkeys slapping The Elder Scrolls V: memes
  20. oof, now that was a mayhem mix up hope you get that sorted out... also I was wondering... I was never really super good at SHMUP games, but I still play it. lol, do you need serious training mode if you want to get better at bullet hell games? πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯😭
  21. Having a bit of background in music as a kid, I try my hardest to notice the backgrounds of literally anything I play or watch, but sometimes I just go the immersion route while playing or watching, and then I look up the music related stuff later on the internet if it really catches my attention. 😁
  22. I can't say I had any experience of games that traumatized me, as I didn't really get access to playing much games as a child, but there are movies that scared me. πŸ˜‚ like pet sematary (1989) for example. πŸ™€ There are plenty of jumspcare games to play nowadays, and having played slenderman in the past, that didn't traumatize me... only scared me for a few minutes at best. πŸ˜‹
  23. huh, interesting, I've always been a fan of FPS games, I think this would be fun since it's like a child of HALO and portal, would sure be quite a tactical experience using portals... but if I recall correctly, there's also a character in apex legend that utilizes portals right? πŸ€” Also, I just wonder if my friends PC could run this with a GT630 potato GPU. πŸ₯” it meets all the other required specs though, asides the GPU probably. πŸ˜…
  24. I sort of kinda liked the older feel of the aesthetic made by rockstar... that said these unreal trailers looks cool but it gives me some uncanny valley vibes... Or maybe that isn't it... it just feels a bit off to me. But in any case, I liked the more cartoony feel of the older game, even if it was an sort of outlier game made by Rockstar Games. 🧨 I also recently watch a whole dissection of the bully game/story. Good ole memories. also, school politics that's cartoonized. ugh lol. This was a very fun recap/review and revisit of the bully game overall. Give it a watch, the narrator adds more fun with the commentary too.
  25. I have the same opinion, because as a company that says they are losing subscriber count, therefore losing profits also, any bad moves will cost them for sure. so maybe their best bet is slowly but surely, or buy a decent gamedev studio, but ffs don't scrap their projects. πŸ˜…
