yeah, I like the default color of the forum, as it's kinda "dark mode" already like how I like most of the websites, but I've read some article before about how some people like "white" themes better, or bright ones. I usually understand forum themes are paid, having spent my fair share of time on multiple forum sites for years, (until now in fact) 😉 but if it's just colors, maybe that doesn't need to cost much. Or it's free sometimes to tweak colors... 🟥🟩🟦R-G-B anyone? 😁 usually the paid stuff is more on how the elements on the webpages are arranged, along with the color themes. but anyway, let's see what the opinions of the other members are. on some forums that I go to, people like being able to set a "wallpaper" background or picture background, with glass blur effect on the main part of the post pages.

Hey guys, I just got a 64 GB Steam Deck as a gift, and after installing some newer games on it, I figured out that 64 GB will not get me that far in terms of storage. 😄 So, I found my father’s DJ Drone and there’s a 64 GB card in it, I’m not familiar with the specs, but if he was using it in the drone, it must have been a fast one, no? I know that the drone is two years old, and he has been using it heavily, so it must have had its share of reads and writes, would that affect performance? I think that this is his drone's model, it says Class 10 or UHS-1 card in the specs, is that good? (here's a picture of the card from the drone) 😁 I also heard about bricking horror stories, are those true? Do older SD cards tend to brick your device? I was Googling around a bit and found several buying guides (like this one) that have good recommendations, I do plan to invest in to a newer SanDisk, but right now I can’t shelve out $150 😄 Thanks so much!

Any opinions on Valve and the handheld Steam Deck PC, I say PC because windows and any "Computer OS" can be installed in it. 😁 Also, how do you think the gaming industry will be influenced by such a product as the steam deck going forward, as it runs using a version of Linux known as SteamOS. Do you guys think that it's proper to be touted (by people) as a Nintendo Switch competitor? 🤔 will the Steam deck boom or flop (I don't think so though 😅) as I've read opinions from both the pro-nintendo people, and the pro-steam deck people. there's always two sides. I prefer the neutral side, and look at the pros and cons of each. And since the SteamOS will get people to finally notice and program, or develop for linux, do you think that SteamOS has a chance in the future to be a competitor as an alternative operating system vs. Windows and MacOS? 😉

yeah I get it, it's funny, but I unterstand how annoying that is for streamers. 😅 one of the PUBG streamers I watch, ChocoTaco, constantly gets streamsniped sometimes https://www.youtube.com/c/chocoTaco/featured that's why the streaming mode exists in games like PUBG, so that their "famous" username, doesn't show up in the kill feed, rather an anonymous name is replaced instead of their normal name.

yeah this is exactly the reason people keep drifting back to windows because "it just works" 😅 linux needs some studying before you can use it. 😋

yeah, I agree, though I'm still deciding if I want to pull out $30 as I have never owned any of the resident evil games, just played it sometimes over at a friends house. 😅

well, I'd agree with that EA, should let the dev teams under them per project, have (mostly) free rein, otherwise when they inject cash grabs as the front and center.... 🎯 well... we all know where this is going. 😅 This, I have honestly no idea what goes on in these "gaming" corporate politics. 😅 Makes me wonder whether open-source games are viable as an alternative for the future of gaming projects. Although that has its downsides too. 🤔

I have no Idea if I ever played with a big name game celebrity in any of the games I played, because I just play the game. I wouldn't know the top 50 players of any given big game if I tried. 🤣 that would be similar to work, or I'm a video game journalist, and it's my job to know these things. 😝 but if that ever happened to me in the future, I'd brag about it lol. I also just watch clips from people that have defeated a big name, and that's GG worthy.

Hmm, this is very informative to me, also asides from the cash prize from tournaments, Esport players also receive salaries from the "companies" that own or sponsor them right? Just like normal sports teams.

I'm just curious, I'm used to other social media like Reddit, where I upvote multiple comments in a row, Facebook Twitter, etc. Also, other forums don't have this restriction... Is this related to the award/rewards bidding system on VGR? 🤔 Thanks. 😁

Yeah, I believe basically all streaming setups ends up being three screens minimum, and then after that the next level is to have a dedicated capture/stream PC to capture and record, plus stream the videos from your main gaming PC, to take off the stress on it. 😁

I've never tried a "standing desk", but I do sometimes work while standing up in front of my computer desk when I'm sick of sitting down. I just angle the monitor a bit upwards. 😁

yeah, that's probably safe, the same system probably exists on Google play family sharing, and Netflix's family sharing plan too. They just get access. Done. They have their own accounts connected to the main one.

Reminds me of a documentary on obese children I watched... *sighs every single time the child whined about letting him having more candy food, or sugary drinks, the parent would either give in immediately, or say no for a bit but then still give the kid junk food. the kid was very very fat, and not even 10 years old yet... that's waaaaay unhealthy. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ but parents just let them be. 😑

actually tons of cultures across the world eat with their hands. 🤣 after all, that's how our ancestors all would eat, no? like the ancient hunter-gatherers. a lot of asian countries also eat with their hands. hint: (it adds flavor) 🤣 anyway, there's this youtube food channel that I love watching, it's an american guy, whose name is sunny(sonny?) and he was once very fat, but got sick of it, became fit enough, and then travels the world now trying different food from different cultures. he has a great sense of humor too. check his channel for his vids on indian food.

AHAHA, I grew up in places around asia so I'm used to seeing and knowing certain street food are prepared like that. 🤣 indian food are some of my favorites, though if the place is really really filthy I will avoid it, though if there is a decent crowd and the food is good its fine... there's a certain acceptable compromise for me when it comes to street food of various countries. 😉
