  1. Fallout 76 I gave a fairly positive review but I just haven't really felt like playing it much lately even if I've enjoyed it despite how much of a mess it is. Anthem on the other hand I freaking love and my opinion of it is pretty much diametrically opposed to the majority's. I'm seriously addicted to it and have loved every second I've played of it. Is it without its flaws though? Hell no and I do plan to point those out in my eventual review of it. But it's definitely on my top 10 games of 2019 list so far.
  2. If I have the option I will typically choose first person for the immersion factor. And maybe third person during platforming moments if the game has them.
  3. I remember The Longest Journey made me cry a lot. Can't really discuss it without going into spoilers but it was during a death scene. I also cried at the end of Grim Fandango due to the bittersweet ending and the beautiful end quote.
  4. Fair enough. I'm glad not all mobile games are ruined by microtransactions.
  5. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey for me. Basically it was just a huge disappointment, taking the story into a much more depressing tone, adding game mechanics that were half baked, and having a whole bunch of inaccuracies with the previous game. Also the title is just stupidly pretentious. Duke Nukem Forever is actually one of my favourite sequels lol
  6. I've kinda dropped out of phone gaming recently, mostly due to a lack of memory on my phone and wanting to mostly just use it for messaging and calls and cause I prefer gaming on my PS Vita or 3DS if I'm going out. That and mobile gaming has just become so riddled with microtransactions and crap recently that just nothing interests me anymore and the best mobile games get ported to other devices anyway. I used to be really into it though. Have a lot of fond memories playing stuff like Snake on my Nokia phones back in junior high, and Prince of Persia on my Samsung phone. Later i had a Sony Ericsson phone that I'd play a bunch of cool games on including Doom RPG and Doom 2 RPG.
  7. I grew up with a SNES as well. Wasn't my first gaming device (that would be my dad's PC) but it was my second. After that I moved on to PC again but still played the SNES even when the N64 and PS1 were out cause my mom didn't get any more consoles after that. My family has just always been PC gamers in general.
  8. Oh yeah, might also add I love retro 2D games as well.
  9. Usually when I'm home from work and after dinner.
  10. Skyrim and Oblivion are top notch. Also a fan of Fallout 3 and 4.
  11. I tried Halo 1 but couldn't get into it. Didn't really click with me.
  12. Probably Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Just a ridiculous situation all around.
  13. Don't remember any age it didn't. Been a gamer all my life practically. Whether it was my dad's PC or handheld LCD games, gaming was part of my life early on and it pretty much left a permanent impact on me and has been a part of my life since.
  14. Duke Nukem 3D Tomb Raider 2 MDK The Curse of Monkey Island Doom BlackThorne Blood Deus Ex Half-Life Grim Fandango Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit Unreal Tournament '99 SiN Descent II Jazz Jackrabbit 2 The Longest Journey Rayman Max Payne Quake Commander Keen
  15. I've been into gaming all my life, but around the early 90's was when I really got into it. I would say 1992-1993.
  16. Here's a list of old games I go back to constantly: Duke Nukem 1 (DOS) BlackThorne (DOS) Tomb Raider 1-5 MDK Doom 1, 2 and Final Doom Quake 1 & 2 Eradicator Deus Ex
