  1. What in your opinion is the best murder you have ever seen in a horror or thriller movie? For me, it's when the Joker killed the guy with the hand buzzer completely frying him in the original Batman (1989). I love that one. For this no slasher flicks are allowed. Those are too easy. Get more creative people.
  2. I had never heard anything from Willow Smith, so I played it. 10 seconds in, my ears were bleeding. I'm assuming she's Will Smith's daughter? If so, I know they say talent skips a generation, but dammit, this is going too far!
  3. That is Darkstone(PS1) exactly. I've done that repeatedly with it.
  4. It's sad to say, but I see that all the time. If you expect everything to be handed to you, then what is the actual point? I'll be the first to admit that I have players guides for a ton of my games. But I only have them to use if I get hopelessly stuck, and absolutely can not figure out what the hell I need to do to get out of that situation. Otherwise, all the hell they do is collect dust. In FF8, I do use the guide on a rare occasion, but only to double check things here and there. Like what items I need to refine to a certain one, or what a monsters elemental weakness is. As far as gameplay, I don't use it.
  5. I’ve been noticing the same thing. Which has made it seem that we’re shit out of luck to find anything that’s actually a challenge. I honestly believe the bullshit PC and SJW movements have a lot to do with it.
  6. You're exactly right on that. But around here where I live, when I mention the master quest people look at me like I'm high. In this area it's almost unheard of. I have it on N64 and Game Cube, but people still think I'm full of shit. So since it's completely unknown around here where I live, that's why I included it on my list.
  7. I always liked the rainstorms in Zelda A Link To the Past. And when I could make it rain with the song of storms on Zelda OoT. I've always loved heavy rainstorms in real life. So I would love to see a game that would just out of nowhere blow in a rainstorm so severe you couldn't see in front of you. That has actually happened here several times. It has rained so hard that I couldn't see my backyard fence. And it's a big ass privacy fence. Tornados, earthquakes, and the occasional flash flood in a dead riverbed would be interesting. Maybe even a hurricane once in a while. What can I say, I love "bad" weather. I find it soothing. Here where I live what we have to worry about is severe thunderstorms/rainstorms, flash floods and tornados. I'm landlocked in the middle of the US, so I don't have to worry about hurricanes. And I'm not near any faults, so I don't have to worry about earthquakes. The flood of '93 wiped out more than half of the state. There are lakes to this day that are left over flood water. and that was 26 years ago. I remember the river being just a few feet below the bridge when it was supposed to be more than 100' below the bridge. It was fucking insane.
  8. I had a dentist appointment at fucking 9am today. Loads of fun for me. I was supposed to take my hedgehog and conure to the vet for a checkup, but wasn't able to make it. But I got that rescheduled for next Tuesday.
  9. I picked up Assassin’s Creed 2 the other day. I’ve hated the series for a long time, which always bugged me because it’s the type of game I gravitate towards. The problem I’ve had with it was trying to get through the bullshit at the start of the game. It was so much of a pain in the ass that I eventually just said “fuck this shit”. But the game was only $2.99 at GameStop, so I figured what the hell. At that price I wasn’t really losing anything if I still hated it. And if I ended up liking it, then I got a steal on a game.
  10. They don't make their breakfast sandwiches past 9:00AM here.
  11. Whenever the mood strikes me.
  12. Granted, while they're two of my all time favorites, FF8 and Castlevania SOTN get to a point quickly to where it's like, "Why do I even bother?". It's so easy to get through them, and then you're left wondering what to do afterwards. Maybe go back to playing jacks or shooting marbles. At least that changes every time.
  13. Konami, Capcom, and Akklaim top my list. They have made tons of games, and of all the ones I have played from them, they have never let me down once. I personally don't remember any game from any of them ever flopping. They are just the best.
  14. FF8. I get on to the 3rd disc, power up my characters, get the last GF's, and that's it. There's not much left to do. The 4th disc is so short and boring, that I don't even bother with it anymore. I know how and where to get the spells and abilities to make my characters virtually invincible. But once that's done, and I have all the GF's and all their abilities learned, there's not a hell of a lot left to do. Collect items to teach different GF's so each character has the same abilities like Recover, Revive, and Treatment. Stock gil, max out their HP so you don't need magic junctioned to it to have it maxed. There are some games that you play so much that you can get to be TOO GOOD at them. That's when you start getting bored with it and burn out. If you add them all together with old memory cards for PS1, and my PS3's, I probably have 15 different games going because I reach that point.
  15. Employers are aware of gaming. But around here, no matter what you pick up from it, gaming is considered a hinderance. It supposedly distracts you from what you're supposed to be concerned with. I know they have no say what you do on your own time, but if you're a gamer, they look down on that hard.
  16. Not a big gunner fan. I prefer swords to heat. I'm just a fantasy nut.
  17. I've never had a breakfast sandwich from Subway (I'm never up early enough to get one), but I have gotten a lot of food from them over the years, and they can make some killer subs.
  18. I'm laying out a solid white outfit to wear just to piss people off. Everyone says you're not supposed to wear white after labor day, so that's all I'm going to wear for a week after. Nothing but white. I do it every year, and it's always fun as hell.
  19. Are you a member of any organizations?
