All the fist weapons in Castlevania: SOTN. They are absolutely useless. Sure some of them up your attack in the beginning, but you have to be so damn close to the creature that you're gonna take more damage than you're going to deal out. That's why I keep my Alucard items in the beginning.

There's a bit of a minority of us as classic gamers where the old systems are already in high demand. I've had offers for my Atari 2600 that have topped $200. Obviously I turned it down. I don't know how it is in other areas, but here it's next to impossible to find a working Atari that hasn't been modded.

Some neighbor kids had it when I was a kid. They were playing it one day and it drew me in instantly. I had seen the game in the store but the box cover turned me off. Then I saw them playing it, and I had to get it. Been playing it for over 20 years now.

I remember a good amount of witchy obsession, but hell it could have been all 3. I spent the first 4 years higher than a god damn kite, so I missed that period.

We all have our favorites. That's a given. We all have games that we absolutely hate. that's another given. But what's a game that is popular as hell, but you just don't get the appeal? There's several that come to mind for me. Assassin's Creed and Grand Theft Auto. With AC, I can never get through that bullshit training in the beginning. It never ends, and lets you play the game. With GTA, what's the point? There's nothing to do in it except beat people, steal their car, and.....nothing else. It's a completely pointless game. Halo is another one. I played in a few Halo tournaments when it debuted, and the appeal never really showed itself to me. An arena fighting game. Ooohhh. Aaahhhh. Sports games are another. Don't get me wrong, I'm a major hockey nut. But playing a game on a console or PC, is just boring. The only game I have ever enjoyed is 1080 Snowboarding and that's only because I used to be a local pro/am snowboarder. Then there's games like SOCOM and COD. Maybe it's due to my experience from my time in the Marines, but these games really make no sense. If you want to be in that situation that fucking bad, then just enlist. Do something with your life in that respect.

It gets old after a while. It seems that there's a fad going on that changes every 10 years or so. In the 80's it was daemons/devils. In the 90's it was vampires. In the 2000's it was witches. Now it's zombies. I expect in the next 5 years or so everyone will be done with zombies and have moved on to werewolves, or swamp monsters or some other crap. It's like following the fashion trends. What was hip and cool yesterday, is now something only a loser would wear/do/play/listen to. It never ends. I stay out of it unless it truly interests me. I quit watching The Walking Dead in the 5th season because it was the same damn thing over and over and over. They kill a bunch of walkers. Find a shelter. It gets overrun with walkers. They're forced onto the road to find another shelter. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
I'm. Fucking. Done.

The only one I can think of for me was Zelda: Majora's Mask. I was so boring in the beginning, but as I played into the game, there was so much to do that it eventually became one of my favorites. Initially I hated it. I didn't even count it as an actual Zelda game since it wasn't in Hyrule saving Zelda from Ganon. But it won me over after a bit.

I would definitely say God Of War is number 1 for me. But a close second is FF15.

I'd kinda like to see some of the big blockbuster 2D side scrollers reimagined in life like 3D. Something like Super Mario 3. Although, it would be a good idea to change that racoon tail a bit so it doesn't look like a turd dangling out of Mario's ass.

I've been to 2 of the 6 Flags parks ANF Worlds Of Fun in KC, but I have never in my life been to a Disney park. I've been on a couple rides in Vegas, but never Disney. But growing up I wasn't even allowed to watch a Disney movie, because according to my father "Disney is for pussies". Just because I have one doesn't mean I am one, so I still don't get the problem.

The only time cutscenes bug me is if I'm replaying the game for my hundredth time and already know exactly what it says. But whether I've played it or not, I've hated that god damn owl in every Zelda game it's showed up in.

I would have to say the Zelda series. That's pretty much self explanatory.

A couple generalized moments. Like beating a game for the first time that you've been struggling to beat for a long time. Also replaying a favorite game that you were sure you knew everything about, only to discover something that advances your character that you never knew about.

I'd say for me story is top. If the storyline is boring I probably won't play it for very long and definitely not more than once. The games Steve and his friends play in American Dad come to mind. Everyone here knows I'm a fan of medieval style games, but there are also others that I play that aren't exactly medieval. DMC, Dante's Inferno, FF, and a few others. It's story, characters, gameplay in that order for me.

Yes. Once when I was a kid I decided I wanted to run the entire way through Zelda: A Link To The Past without stopping to save and without dying. I was able to do it no problem, but at that age it took a few hours. Afterwards, I was so burnt out, I didn't touch any of my systems for close to a year. The idea of gaming just made me sick. I actually sold a lot of my games. But eventually, I started gaming again. It took a long ass time for me to really get back into it like I previously had been, but it did eventually happen.
What do you want to see from video games the rest of this year?
