Do we have any music "beef," that mirrors Pac vs BIG own?
killamch89 replied to Knight Barida's topic in Music
50 vs. Ja Rule was the 2000s’ closest equivalent: Personal Vendetta: 50 mocked Ja’s music, family (taunting his daughter), and even his tears post-9/11. Violence: Shootings (50 was shot 9x), label sabotage (Murder Inc. vs. G-Unit), and career casualties (Ashanti, Irv Gotti). Missing element: It lacked the cultural weight of East vs. West, but the mutual annihilation attempt was just as vicious. -

LEGO Shuts Down BIONICLE Fan Made Game After 8 Years of Development
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I used to love Bionicles as a kid too. I had quite a lot of sets and used to combine them to make some masterpieces. The game looks great but it's a pity it won't see the light of day. -
The N-Gage had its share of hidden gems. Which game delivered the most memorable narrative on Nokia’s unique handheld? Was it Pathway to Glory’s war drama, Pocket Kingdom’s fairy-tale twist, or Asphalt: Urban GT’s street-racing saga? How did it leverage the phone’s quirks - chat-style dialogue, portable connectivity, or hardware buttons to tell its story?
-
The Neo-Geo library is packed with fighting masters and shooters, but which title breaks the mold with truly unique mechanics? Maybe the towering bosses of King of the Monsters, the card-battle fusion in SNK vs. Capcom, or the rhythm-shooter mashup of Rhythm Hunter Fête. Does Puzzle Bobble’s popping chain reactions count?
-
Nothing beats gathering around a big CRT cabinet with four joysticks. Which four-player arcade game had your heart? Was it Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ co-op brawls, Smash TV’s arena shooter chaos, or X-Men’s mutant vs. Sentinels action?
-
Many classic RPGs began as dungeon-crawl arcades. Which sequel successfully evolved its arcade DNA into a modern RPG? Think Diablo III’s frenetic looter style maintaining the coin-op spirit, or Ys VIII adopting action-arcade combat on console and PC. Perhaps Secret of Mana Rebirth captured the arcade’s cooperative charm?
-
Arcade sports titles offer pick-up-and-play fun, but which ones mirror the depth of career modes found in sims? Did NBA Jam’s rookie journey mod deliver? What about Virtua Tennis having a story progression or NFL Blitz incorporating franchise play? Are there indie arcades translating RPG-style progression into pinball leagues or soccer tournaments?
-
Which VR games had you ducking, dodging, or breaking a sweat like a workout? Beat Saber’s lightsaber rhythm, BoxVR’s punch combos, or perhaps Moss’s climbing sequences? Did you try holistic fitness apps like Supernatural or space combat in Sprint Vector? How do you balance gameplay and exercise intensity, and what metrics do you track - heart rate, calories, duration?
-
VR offers a front-row seat to cliff diving, wingsuit flying, or BMX stunts without the real-world danger. What’s your take on these extreme sports simulations - do they deliver genuine adrenaline, or do physics limitations and motion sickness hold them back? Which titles or indie experiments nails the rush, and what platform (Quest, PC VR) handles the experience best? Would you recommend VR skydiving to someone who’d never jump from a plane, or is it more novelty than true sport?
-
First-time VR users can be overwhelmed by complex menus and motion controls. How critical is intuitive game design like clear hand-tracking UI, guided tutorials, and minimal motion sickness to onboarding newcomers? Which VR titles nailed the hand-holding phase without feeling condescending? Do comfort modes and teleportation locomotion make or break first impressions?
-
Could VR be the next big thing in corporate wellness programs? Picture guided meditation in serene virtual landscapes, biofeedback-driven breathing exercises with calming visuals, or team-building activities in fantasy settings. How would you implement VR sessions to reduce burnout, enhance mindfulness, or foster social connection across remote offices? Do you prefer turnkey wellness apps or custom developed experiences?
-
In what ways might VR replicate robotic assembly lines, drone piloting, or surgical robotics for realistic training scenarios? I envision haptic feedback gloves teaching delicate manipulations, virtual consoles for practicing remote ROV missions, or physics-based simulators for calibrating robotic arms. How do motion-capture systems translate operator gestures, and can AI-driven virtual robots adapt to trainee errors?
-
Charging grips, Bluetooth controllers, clip-on fans, memory-boosting SD cards - what mobile accessory do you think most enhances your gaming performance? Have you tested trigger attachments that improve FPS play, external GPUs for Steam Link, or foldable stands for console emulation? Which gadgets are worth the splurge, and which felt like pointless gimmicks?
-
From Pokémon GO’s Gyms at local monuments to Ingress portals in historical sites, how do you feel about AR experiences that map to real-world landmarks? Does visiting a famous statue or art piece boost immersion, or do you find it gimmicky when developers slap a virtual layer over tourist traps? Have you discovered hidden gems in your city thanks to a quest marker? Which titles strike the perfect balance between fiction and location-based exploration?
-
iOS with its curated App Store and MFi controller support, Android’s open ecosystem and varied hardware, or maybe a niche OS like Steam Deck’s handheld mode - what’s your top pick for mobile gaming? How important are exclusive titles, performance consistency, customization, or emulator availability? Have you switched platforms for a single killer game or stuck with one for years? How do software updates and manufacturer bloatware influence your choice?
-
How do you keep your mobile games tidy? Do you create themed folders (“Puzzle,” “RPG,” “Arcade”), use launcher apps that let you sort by playtime or genre, or rely on starred favorites? Maybe you uninstall after every session or maintain multiple profiles? How about widgets showing your daily rewards or a custom dashboard that tracks in-game stats?
-
Mobile game updates can be hit or miss. How do you react when an update nukes the feature you loved most be it a unique event mode, UI layout, or character ability? Do you grumble in reviews, reach out to devs on social media, or search for APK backups of the old version? Have you ever rallied the community to demand its return? Conversely, have you discovered hidden gems in unintended side-effects of an update?
-
We’ve all seen minimum specs that scare us off or recommended specs that read like a NASA setup. How do you judge if a game’s stated requirements are realistic or overhyped marketing? Do you rely on trustable benchmarking sites, beta tester feedback, or user-submitted performance logs? Have you been burned by a game that demanded more GPU VRAM than advertised? Conversely, any hidden optimizations where you ran it better than expected?
