That's what I heard about this game as well but I'm not sure what event is referenced.

Pretty sure Valiant Hearts: The Great War is based on true stories during WWI. Could be wrong about that, though. Good game with a terrific and somber soundtrack.

I don't know any, so I was coming hoping to find some information on some games and how they were inspired by a true story.
I am sure there must be some games that have an origin by inspiration like that.

That Jonestown Massacre is a sad story. When it seems that even babies and kids were part of the mass suicide. A lot of abuse was going on too. 

Wasn't the original inspiration for GTA supposedly drawn from the 1993 riots in LA after the Rodney King trial?

Me too and Keanu Reeves appearance in Cyberpunk 2077

E3 begun 2 days ago with a myriad of games being announced so far including Halo among others. The one that has my vote so far is the CyberPunk 2077 presentation along with Keanu Reeves and has already bumped my excitement for the game's release next April. What has been the E3 highlight for you so far?

There's been a lot great moments for me. But as far as the most hype I've felt so far has got to be seeing FF7 remake in action and just Square-Enix's conference in general. We finally got a in-depth demonstration/explanation of game play for a video game that's been highly demanded for. Most of what's been shown have just been really cool trailers, not enough explaining how these games actually play or showing us how they play. Not to say the trailers aren't great though. A lot of them defiantly caught my attention.  

At the current rate VR technology is progressing, I'd say give it another 6-7 years and it will take another 2-3 years of gradual integration to make it mainstream in Esports competitions.

Agree with everything @killamch89 said. VR is currently not suitable for esports and the question is when it will be, but with its further development, I'm sure we'll see more of it.

So xiaomi is releasing the second phone in the black shark series. It has snapdragon 855, and it has 12GB RAM. There are some reviews and tests coming out for this phone. And so far positive reviews. But something I can't afford personally though. What do you think about gaming specific phones?

Latency issues, response time among other things. I'd go as far as to say that VR hasn't really progressed all that much since its introduction 3-4 years ago.

I love this one too, I hope they make games like this but with more different paths

The Warhammer in Skyrim is the most useless weapon known to man. If the tip of the weapon doesn't connect, you will hardly do any damage at all - on top of that, swing speed is ridiculously slow and outside of power attacking, it is quite useless.

That does sound like a pain in the ass. The triangle shape just doesn't sound like the most ideal dispersal pattern. I think devs sometimes throw in what they think of as "challenge weapons," i.e. "it's hard to use, so we'll reward you if you succeed with it." But those weapons usually are not as much fun as weapons with practical designs that make them actually effective.

Yeah the ebony blade is very useless , the sword alone is not worth it if you have to kill a companion.

A useless weapon in videogames its the Mozambique in Apex Legends, a little bit of background first : your health is based on 100 points , the Mozambique its like a hand gun shotgun, it only fires three rounds with 3 bullets in each round , the 3 bullets are sent out in a triangle shape, supposedly if you accurately hit the target its going to make 45 points of damage. The problem is that if you only land one of the 3 bullets its only going to make about 10-15 damage and if you hit the arm or the legs is going to be about a 5-10 damage, recharging the thing is too slow and since its a shotgun obviously the farther your target the more the bullets spread out and the less damage they make.

I’ve just remembered another one—the Ebony Blade in Skyrim. For those who don’t know, it’s a special unique Daedric weapon you can get through a quest.
It has very little base damage. I experimented with the thing for weeks, and couldn’t figure out what was supposed to be so great about it. I finally remembered to look it up, and learned that if you kill friendly characters with it, it gains power absorbing health.
Great, I guess? The very fact that I never figured this out on my own shows how useless the sword is to me. Just more weight in my inventory, ugh.

Axe, barrels are usually the worst weapons to kill boss. I don't know why they are added. I think focus should be on ammo and not axe type stuff. It kind of bores me usually these days on such games. 

The pistol in Alien Vs Predator is, for the most part, as useful as a nun in a brothel.
