I wouldn't say I'm addicted, as I don't game as much as I'd like to. I maybe game a few hours a week at the moment. Just too busy and lazy to other times. But yeah, there are clear cases of addiction. It's mainly because the person gaming, probably has an addictive nature to begin with. So it's kinda to be expected. Gaming can keep your interest for long hours, it has for me. But I usually know when it's time to call it.

As for how you play, you still have control over your habits and it's the only reason why you are doing just fine.

At least 3 of my friends from back in the days in college are critically addicted to playing video games. They have been admitted once but it's not enough to solve the problem for them.

I think that being addicted to drugs is the worst of them all.

Heatman Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 A lot of my folks have died and some imprisoned as a result of doing and selling drugs. It's really a shame that some of them are promising young lads.

But there are for sure people out there who do need help.

You're lucky that it was obvious for your parents to find out because some addiction gets the person depressed and he locks up till its too late.

Very correct, I am happy my parents rescued me when it was getting out of control for me. At this period, I have control over myself when it comes to gaming.
