Most underappreciated RPG?

Recommended Posts

I'm a sucker for B-grade, euro-jank RPGs. For some reason, I can forgive many of the game's shortcomings when they're so ambitious in scope. I must say, the best of the bunch that I've played is probably The Technomancer, Bound By Flame and Arcania. What are some underappreciated RPGs that you know of?

I would say the .hack series, it has great soundtrack and a fantastic story.

Not familiar with the .hack series. Will check it out.

So underappreciated that I could only find like two images of it on Google.

I miss it.

Another RPG I'm not familiar with tbh. The screenshot looks old-school but super cool. It looks like a roguelike which is a genre I really enjoy. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, my older brother played it a lot - which is why I got into it, in like 1996, when I was way too young to understand what it was all about.

It came out in like 1992 I think.

Breath of fire, aside from Pokemon, this was my first Turn based RPG game and it was awesome, I've played several games of the franchise but I hardly see anybody mention this game.
