Games that felt unresolved at the end

Have you played any games which felt unresolved at the end, whether in terms of world events or some kind of emotional payoff? If so, what would you have wanted to have resolved, and how would you have wanted it to be resolved?

Star Fox on SNES. It was initially a bitch for me to get through. I kept thinking that the final boss had to be a major badass and that there would be some kind of big end sequence. None. The boss was a pussy, and the ending left a hell of a lot to be desired. If SOMETHING had happened, great. But there was nothing but a congratulations.

I think for me darksiders and devil may cry are of that type of game. I always wanted to see the Virgil's ending or future whatever it maybe. But I am seeing his son and dante instead in the new spin off of DMC. Darksiders have turned into random horsemen taking over than the original ones so that was tangent in 3.

Read Dead Redemption, I mean the game itself has a true ending but it was so boring (John's ending was good ) I dont want to spoil anything.

Skyrim's story feels very unresolved even after killing Alduin - I feel that some things in terms of the lore wasn't properly fleshed out in the story.

I think those resident evil and the silent hill games have kind of unresolved ending something that may not go in with that game.

Why not ?

I think when you play those games in a one sitting or within week, it can make you feel like it has lot of things which were left open.
