Cheap or expensive gaming headsets

I would say expensive ones, but i'm not using them only for gaming purpose, as a music compositor, i really need the max possible quality in my ears before upload my stuff

My gaming headset is multi-functional as well because I use them for other things such as audio transcription and voice overs occasionally. I wouldn't say go for the most expensive headset but do your research and find a headset that meets all your needs and is durable and reliable enough to last for a couple of years.

well, i decided to go for expensive ones, because the ones i used to use over years were cheap, and the biggest issue (that i wish nobody faces) is that one of the ears die after weeks of usage ( for some reason that i didn't find about yet)

I know this is an old topic, but I was looking to see if anyone had any new insights into headsets as I'm in the market for a new one. Console connectivity isn't a priority ,but I need it to be PC compatible and able to connect to a phone as a pair of headphones. I'm looking at these on Amazon, but does anyone have any other recommendations?

Well, as far as I'm concerned, it's all about the one's that are more efficient and not just about the price. There are cheaper sets that are very good and vice versa.
