StaceyPowers Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 @m76 was complaining in another thread about the changes in Anders in Dragon Age II, which are common complaints, as many people feel his development seemed unnatural. What do you think are some of the best and worst character development arcs in games, and why?
Shole Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Best for me is def Arthas and Anduin in Warcraft universe(Warcraft III and World of Warcraft), while the worst...hmm can't really think of any worst one.
The Blackangel Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Zelda has had some pretty radical changes. Both to Hyrule and Link himself. The last time I remember him wearing his traditional green tunic was N64. He always had a different outfit after that from the games I saw, not counting GameBoy and the Links Awakening remake. Not to mention that one wasn’t in Hyrule, nor was Majoras Mask.
m76 Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Worst: Max Payne in Max Payne 3 (or more like from Max Payne 2 to 3) Best: Ellie The Last of Us 1

It almost influenced my playing but I managed to keep it up. My friend didn't continue to play as a result of that.
