  1. Yes, this would be a dream setup. Especially for a couple. I think I'd still want something bigger, that has something like this, but on the other side of the room, have consoles and a few tvs setup. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. Yeah, anything relating to Nintendo will be removed. You might be able to get an emulator on the Xbox One, but if it's anything relating to Nintendo in name, it'll be removed.
  3. Let's be honest here, the Xbox exclusives lineup for the Xbox Series X and S aren't great. We got some exclusives incoming, but it seems like it's minimal compared to Sony and what they got going. Anyway, why is it that Xbox always has less exclusives? They buy up all of these studios, so why can't they get these studios to make exclusives? Idk, maybe I'm just not patient. I don't even own the new console yet, but I do worry that there is no point when you have such a small amount of exclusives incoming. What do you guys think?
  4. What are some phones that are solely made for gaming purposes? I wouldn't mind getting myself a Razer phone, but it's a bit pricey for me. It is something I'm looking for, a phone that is meant for gaming first, and a phone second. Do you guys know of any alternatives to the razer brand? I don't want to pay premium razer prices. If I can get something more on a budget, I'll be happy. Any suggestions?
  5. Currently my PC has a smaller SSD 500GB or so and a bigger 2TB HDD. My SSD is pretty much full up, so I've been using my 2TB HDD to save my games as of late. Which would you advise I save my games to? The SSD? or the HDD? I need to make room on my SSD if so. Or, I could look into buying another SSD. I'm just paranoid about the longevity of HDDs these days, as SSDs tend to last a lot longer.
  6. In recent years, emulators have been showing up on consoles, namely the Xbox One and I hear the Series X and S has an emulator for some other consoles. Do you think it should be allowed for these consoles to have emulators on their app stores? I think it should be allowed, considering you can install them on a windows pc. But then again, I can see why Microsoft and Sony would remove emulators, as it's a risk to allow them. What is your opinion on this? Do you think gamers should be allowed to install emulators on their consoles? Or should emulators even be allowed on the marketplace?
  7. So for those wondering, I guess DOOM (2016) or DOOM 4, was supposed to be a COD like version of DOOM instead. There was some work done on this version before the version we got became a thing. Check the video out below to get an idea for what the game might have looked like. Would you have played this version if it were made? Do you think it would have been as good, worse, or better than the version we actually got?
  8. My brother is more into GTA than I am. I think I'm just played out of the whole series. I grew up with GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. When you play these games so much, it kind of gets repetitive. At least for me. GTA just doesn't make me feel that excitement anymore. Same with RDR2. I always said I would go in an 100% it, but I got bored of it too quick. I think it's because I'm just so played out on open world games, that I just can't get invested like I used to.
  9. This is something I would love to do. I think there is a charity group that donates games/consoles to kids in hospitals. If I ever find duplicate working consoles, I'll be sure to consider this. ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh for sure. I have no plans of selling my old consoles. Even with the Xbox One, I will just use that in my living room.
  10. Yes, exactly that! ๐Ÿ‘† I would of course add a bigger TV, some LED lighting behind the shelving. Instead of the posters, I would put more shelving there, so I can add gaming memorabilia and other consoles. I tried drawing up some ideas a while back, but lost the paper somewhere lol. But yeah, this is close to what I am thinking about. The only other addition, I think would be to add a smaller CRT tv in there, so I can take advantage of more of the retro consoles. HDTVs are nice, but they don't make retro games look great.
  11. I think that's the only reason I would sub to Nintendo online. I like revisiting the NES and SNES catalog, especially with games I never had the chance to play. With the SNES I only have like 8 games or so in my personal collection, so having it on the Switch is an added bonus. Now I just need to buy myself a switch soon. ๐Ÿ˜„
  12. Yeah, I wouldn't go as far to say it's the worst, but I suppose you could give it the worst launch since Fallout 76. ๐Ÿ˜„ Idk, A lot of people are fed up with the state of the game, and rightfully so. No game should come out in such a broken state, even on PC I've encountered glitches, some nearly game breaking. And there's now a game breaking save glitch, that if you touch or surpass 8MB on your save file, it'll actually corrupt the save file. I think it's fair to include in the discussion based off of how broken it is. Don't get me wrong though. I love this game and have been having a blast with it, but I have this constant worry that I'll hit something game breaking eventually. But that's just me. I know some people have had nothing but great things to say about the game, but it doesn't change the fact that most others are having problems.
  13. I'm sure some of us here will be picking up a new gen console soon enough, and when that time comes, we often retire our older consoles. What will you retire those consoles for? I will probably retire my console to the living room where I'll use it for streaming and playing other games if I so desire. But other than that, I probably won't use it for much else. What about you?
  14. I've yet to have the privilege of trying VR, but I really want to. I've heard how fun they can be, but I also hear they can be tough for some people to play, as it can cause headaches and nausea. With that being said though, is VR where you want it to be right now? Or could it be even better? I spoke with a friend the other day, and they complained about graphics in VR games being pretty bad for most games. Is this true? I want to try games like Half Life alyx, beat saber and a few others. How much do you think VR can be worked on? What could be next for VR games?
  15. You can read the article here - Nintendo Everything If you're subscribed to Nintendo Online, you'll be getting some new additions to the SNES side of the game isle. Those games are as follows: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kongโ€™s Double Trouble! The Ignition Factor Super Valis IV Tuff E Nuff You can also see what the famicom side gets in Japan here.
  16. My dream game room would have a big long entertainment stand that can handle multiple consoles. I want to be able to set up retro consoles and modern consoles in one area, that way I can just game all in one place and don't have to unload the console each time I want to play it. I was thinking an Nintendo area, with the NES, SNES, N64, and the Gamecube. And then a PS area with all the PS consoles and even an xbox area. Do you guys set up all of your consoles like this? I want to do this, but I could only imagine how the cable management would go. ๐Ÿ˜„
  17. I wouldn't mind grabbing some action figures from games I like. Any collectibles relating to Super Mario Bros, Metal Gear Solid, Sonic, Batman, etc. I also wouldn't mind grabbing a few more posters and maybe some art prints. And anything with lights, that can be put up as a display piece. Stuff like that.
  18. There is a good game, a great game in fact, but with it comes a lot of bugs and performance issues. Even on PC I have issues, and there's now a known bug where if your save file exceeds more than 8MB in size, it'll actually corrupt the file. This topic isn't about them offering refunds. It's about what CDPR will do after this bad launch, and what their future releases might look like. They are now, but only after Sony removed the game from their marketplace outright. CDPR had to accept it and agreed with Sony and MS in offering refunds, even said they would go that route too for physical copies. But yeah, took them a while to agree to it, because for a bit they wanted to keep people from returning it for a refund. They should have, as the devs knew the game wasn't ready and they expressed this to the leaders of CDPR. But, they didn't care and even lied saying the PS4/Xbox One versions played good. Oh and the PC version is a buggy mess as well. In general this game is a buggy mess. I think this is where CDPR needs to rethink their strategy and fix this game asap. Because their future games are going to have a lot of eyes on them.
  19. Well, I never played Demon Souls or Bloodborne, and I have played a little bit of Dark Souls, but never completed any in the series. I want to give the series a chance though, because what I did play, I had some fun with it. I just have no patience for the challenge. Anyway, Dark Souls gets it for me simply because it's the only one I played of the bunch.
  20. I agree. But I still think a reviewer should check out every aspect of the game at least once. They don't have to completely run through every aspect of the game, just see every aspect and report back. I just think those things should be tested out before giving the final review. But that's just me.
  21. It depends on the game really. If it's about survival, then I can accept it, but sometimes it becomes too much to manage. I don't mind doing it a little bit in most newer games, but I'd rather it just be simplified. I don't want to have to bathe my character every so often, or pee every few hours. I have to deal with that in real life, I don't want to deal with it all the time in my games.
  22. The problems keep coming, and this one is a doozy. According to CDPR themselves, if you have the PC version of the game and exceed 8MB on your save file, it will actually corrupt it as it's not meant to go above 8MB. They say, the reason this is, is because of looting and crafting too much stuff. CDPR said the issue might be fixed, and said the only work around right now, is to play the story only and start over on another save to play the story over again. As that's what you're intended to do. Yeah, they said that. Anyway, read more about this story here - Gamespot
  23. I haven't played GTA online in quite a while. I just got bored of the game in general. I used to be huge into it for a while, but I think grinding so much, just broke me. It's why I also don't bother with RDR online anymore either, because I know it's going to be a chore of a grind to get anything done, and I don't feel like dealing with that to be honest.
  24. I used to enjoy crazy taxi. I kind of wish they still made games in the series, but I don't recall the last time they made a game. Are there any games like Crazy Taxi still out there? I know of Simpsons hit and run, but I want something new. Any suggestions?
  25. According to Xbox themselves, ARK II is now an exclusive for the Xbox Series X and S. I never played the original game, and I probably won't play this one, but it's now an exclusive if that's your thing. You can read more about this news here - Xbox
