  1. I don't see how that makes you "bad" at the game--you just prefer a different strategy. I could say the same about my preference for light armor. After all, heavy armor makes me slow, and my reflexes are already slow, so combined ... well, I die a lot. Thus I pick the light armor. @LadyDay Curious about your response to this thread! Which class do you usually prefer?
  2. Thank you! The same is true of you as well!
  3. @kingpotato That’s true. That’s a good example, another one being Berenziah (spelling?). I like that if you read the books, they shed light on events which otherwise you might totally misinterpret. My mind was blown by the one which talked about how Ulfric made a mess of the Reach. That book arguably contributed more to my understanding of both him and the situation with the Forsworn than anything anyone said to me in the game.
  4. True. He fries a lot of chickens.
  5. MMOs do seem to attract a lot of people on a power trip (speaking from experience, since I am sad to say I was one of them). Thus the abusive behaviors, I suppose. You can get away with a lot sitting behind a screen.
  6. I should offer a reward to whomever can find the cave in question for me, lol. Like, seriously. I wonder if points are transferrable between accounts ...
  7. In games which give you access to a ton of different abilities for combat, do you use a wide variety, or do you just stick with a few favourites? I’ve noticed that in pretty much every game I play, I just find several abilities I like and use them over and over. I end up ignoring the vast majority of other combat options.
  8. Do you think Google Stadia and similar services are likely to succeed or fail? Why?
  9. Good guess, but that's not it. I don't have Dawnguard installed (why haven't I gotten that yet? lol). I checked out Shadowgreen Cavern near Solitude the other day, which was also similar, but still not the one.
  10. Such a refreshing attitude in a world where people will take any excuse they can think of to complain about something, lol.
  11. @skyfire @killamch89 Thank you both for your thoughts/feedback. I probably really just need to clean ... and organize ... ugh. Not my favorite chores. Wouldn't it be nice if we could earn trophies for stuff IRL? :/
  12. Good point! On that note, is Odahving immune to dying? I always worry about protecting him like my other pets, lol.
  13. On that note, I should've also mentioned Fallout. I love the old songs on the radio!
  14. Exactly. The ability of the child to reason is important too. I never really saw a connection between video game "violence" and real-life violence--there's nothing harmful occurring on a screen. But some kids may not have the ability to make the distinction, and as a result, may behave problematically.
  15. Ironically, the thing that makes me so keen on getting ripe avocados makes me completely unable to eat bananas. I have food texture issues. Bananas taste good, but I can’t swallow them very effectively :/
  16. Alas, by definition, I'll never know =D But at least I got some cool souvenirs.
  17. I know. I get so envious when I read through mod descriptions.
  18. What lines to you are the most memorable in all video games you have played? Most of the ones which stick with me are from Bioshock games (i.e. “A man chooses, a slave obeys”)
  19. When we are young, it seems to be easier to develop passionate obsessions (something about everything being novel to us, I suspect, and our developing identities). Were there games you were completely obsessed with when you were a kid, and thought about constantly? What were they, and why did they hook you?
  20. How to Train Your Dragon 3. The ending was a total contradiction of everything cool the series stood for before.
  21. I completed Myst (with help in one of the hardest parts), but never completed Riven, lol. Beautiful game, but very very hard.
  22. This is one of several games that makes me wish I had space in my home for multiple consoles. I'm so excited for this one, yet I know I will be waiting ... If there's any chance of PS5 being backwards compatible, getting a PS4 just makes no sense at this point of time for me.
  23. I'm on PS3, the system where mods are not possible.
  24. That joke is both more and less funny than you think :/ You have no idea how badly I wanted to be James Bond, lol. I seriously considered CIA as a career when I was young. I did get to visit their HQ once, which was super cool!
