I forget her name, but I always liked the priestess who gives you the Azura's star mission, if you do the mission her way she can become a follower and she is a very powerful mage.  Mage companions always complimented me well as I was usually a brawler type.

Aranea! She's another of my faves. Like you said, powerful--and I also felt sorry for her being essentially daedra-dumped by Azura with nothing to do. I like bringing her along.

  2. This might sound weird, but one of the things I miss since finishing my first playthrough of Bioshock: Infinite are all the cool, atmospheric sounds in the game.

What other games do a great job creating a unique and immersive ambiance through the use of environment sounds?

I guess it's because I used to work in law enforcement but you kind of have to profile your client and see what they are lacking and how your skills helps to solve the problem.

That's very cool. I never would've thought of law enforcement skills being handy in sales.

Find the correct department that can utilize your skillset and when messaging them, try not to sound desperate and also I forget to mention this before but have some kind of side-project that you do that shows off your skillset. For example, I post small animation videos on FB almost every day ( except when I am extremely busy like now.). It can serve as a type of portfolio which will benefit you. Most importantly, don't take the rejection too personally and don't get discouraged - take it as a learning process.

Thanks for all the tips and advice! I know one needs to use a rifle and not a shotgun, but to what extent have you discovered it is a numbers game?

The lesson I learned was sometimes you have to take it to the chin. - About March this year, my original website and a couple other accounts got hacked and taken out by a hacker - leaving my business I had been building for close to a decade in ruins. I had to take a couple months off and just had to re-invent my way of doing business and incredibly, I bounced back within 3 months after starting to do animation again in August. Something like that would have completely destroyed most people and that was my initial response but in reality that hacker did me a favor - he/she made me re-evaluate everything I was doing up to that point and made me even more hungry and determined.

That's an amazing story. Something like that would be close to my worst nightmare. I imagine that recovering from something like that and evolving would do a lot to boost your confidence. Now you know you can rely on yourself to adapt.

What were some of the changes you made to how you do business which helped you start over successfully?

I don't quite remember the name of this one...I think it was called Forbidden Legend or something like that where you find a book on some dead guy's corpse somewhere near Markarth. I think the book was called Lost Legends and then you are supposed to head to some Nordic Tomb near Solitude. I liked it because after I managed to find that dungeon and finish it, I realized it was a hidden quest 🤣

Are you thinking of the Gauldur Amulet quest which sends you to find three tombs to re-forge the amulet out of fragments?

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

    Question their assumptions.

    How old are you ?

Old enough that I remember the days when we all lied about our ages on the internet.

  8. I’ve noticed with both Fallout 3 and NV, the longer I play the game and the larger my save file gets, the more the map jerks or freezes to the point where eventually the games become unplayable.

I’ve heard that this is because the game has so much data to keep track of, and it eventually just overwhelms it. Anyone have any tips for minimizing this issue on my next playthroughs (i.e. not taking the exploding bodies perk)?

Hah, I’m sure they’d love to meet up with your cat and hang out. They’re very friendly. 😆

So is she, though unfortunately her friendliness involves teeth and claws, so ... maybe not the best idea =D

When you hear me go on about the Metal Gear series is because it is full of interesting characters and the story is ridiculously deep.

I can certainly relate to a love of deep stories and characters. I recently finished Bioshock Infinite and for that reason haven't been able to shut up about it since.

Why did you choose your profession?

It chose me. I was at the end of my rope in the recession, and a stranger told me how I could get started after asking me what I was good at. I followed his advice, and have been at it ever since. It turned out to be my ideal profession, so I'm actually glad nothing else I ever tried during the recession worked out.

Your welcome. His story always touched me because it was, in the final battle of the original Metal Gear Solid, he redeemed himself by sacrificing himself to help the protagonist Solid Snake to defeat Metal Gear Rex. Raiden, one of the protagonists of the Metal Gear franchise went through a similar experience but he learned to overcome his demons and contribute to the welfare of the human race. Gray Fox never got a chance to ever choose how he wanted to live his life - Instead he was a pawn up until the final moments of his life.

I've never played the series, but it sounds very interesting hearing you talk about it. I can't say no to a story of redemption.
