I've still not seen The Terror
I didn't even know it existed. That is awesome! I keep wishing someone would adapt Hyperion.
For me: BSG, Firefly, Star Trek (most of them), Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Expanse, Fringe, X-Files, and plenty more in the more generally speculative realm.

Sum up the essential challenge of your life in one word?

@StaceyPowers for me it's How i met your mother, Stranger Things, Suits and Firefly. Firefly is a hidden gem, so if you haven't seen that alreafdy and are into Star Trek and sci-fi series you should definitely see it!
Good grief. How could I forget to mention Firefly? I never stop holding out hope that there will be a reboot/Season 2 someday.

Genesis P-Orridge, for living a totally honest, unconventional life, and for being kind.
I also admire Rogue from the Cruxshadows and David Eugene Edwards of Wovenhand for their honesty in art as well.
What celebrities do you admire?

@StaceyPowers hmmmm I guess I'll choose walking around my area, listening to music and playing Pokemon GO 😛
That's about the only use of a smartphone that's ever sounded exciting to me.

Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Prison Break, Doctor Who, Torchwood, pretty much anything Bryan Fuller has worked on, Once Upon a Time, Star Trek (most of them), The Expanse, Cobra Kai, Fringe, I can go on and on.
What are yours?

Society needs to give up bigotry in all of its forms.

Nice answer!

That's amazing.

That's a helluva selection of sci-fi movies! All of those are great!
Next question: Favorite sci-fi TV series?

What games would you be most excited to play in virtual reality?
I would really love to try Bioshock Infinite in 3D. What’s funny is that when I started the game originally, I felt really overwhelmed by the environment (kind of a combination of motion sickness and agoraphobia, heh). I remember thinking in 3D it would be too much. But now that I’ve adjusted, I would love to be even more immersed in the game’s amazing atmosphere.

What are your favorite clothing items or armor in video games, whether for aesthetic or functional reasons?
Visually, I love the Daedric armor in Skyrim.

I’m way behind the times when it come to shooters (sadly). So my experience with vehicles in shooters really is confined to where they show up in some UT 2004 game modes, lol.
Anyway, I never liked them. I find them unwieldy. I’m curious if vehicles in shooters have evolved into being more usable over the years, or is this just a subjective hang-up I have?

@StaceyPowers wow that was nice! I'd say Quiet-Practical-Kind. (all those bite me in the end though hahahaha)
Nice answer. I don't know why I didn't think of "practical" for myself.

Driving (if that counts). Yours?

Sounds cute :)

@StaceyPowersused to be midnight to 8 in the morning, back in my glory days 😛 Now it is 4 to 7 in the afternoon which are my only free hours through the day
Those were the days ... I really miss when I could do the same thing.

Compassionate, defiant rulebreaker.
Your turn :)
19 hours ago, DC said:What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of?
Ocean's 11 and Collateral. You?

I have a cat. What about you?

Are we alone in the universe? Probability says there’s a good chance we’re not but it'd be nice to know for sure.
That would probably be my question as well.

Excellent answer! Taken with the previous answer, this prompts my next question. Are you a Trekkie?

I'm sure you'll love it. It's dramatic and full of action at the same time. Let me know what you think if you get your hands on it 😛
Btw, can I jump into this game without playing its predecessors?
21 hours ago, Katri Marcell said:@StaceyPowers actually I've done nothing at all. When I started a new morning job that requires me getting up too early and have to take the public transportation for 2 hours to get there I just come home exhausted. Not the best way to beat insomnia though. What I would suggest you to beat it though in a more humane way is hit the gym or walk walk walk. Tiring yourself physically is the best medication for insomnia 😛
Hahah. Kinda makes me think of the two weight loss diets which worked for me: food poisoning and a jaw injury.

Man, it’s hard to pick just one, but I’d probably go for either pizza, curry, or chinese crispy shredded beef😋
which type of curry? Red curry is my favourite.

How much time on average do you wait between finishing an amazing game and playing it again? Do you start again immediately? Or do you wait weeks? Months? Years?
Is there a period of time which you’ve found is ideal in terms of keeping the game fresh/getting more out of it the second time around?
I feel like when I finish Bioshock Infinite (currently on my first playthrough), I will just want to dive right back into it again. But I don’t want to do it too soon/often and “get used to” the amazing environment.
-
What moments in video games have left a lasting impact on you from an emotional point of view?
The one that sticks with me the most is Joel and Ellie watching the giraffes in The Last of Us.
Another one I think of is Morrigan’s reaction in Dragon Age: Origins when I gifted her a mirror.
-
What micro-organism would be cutest if it were blown up to the size of a cat?
-
What game have you played which scared you the most? This could mean jumping out of your seat in surprise when an enemy jumped you in a creepy environment, or in terms of concepts which you mulled over hours later which were just downright disturbing.
-
Kind of a broad topic, but what is the most innovative game you ever played? This could be in terms of game play mechanics or any other aspect.

A most excellent choice for a man crush 😉
I really related to Mulder. I liked that he found hope in frightening possibilities, and built his faith around it.
