Not sure if you would count it as a collectible, but my favorite part of my collection is my Playstation sign. I got it from a local DVD/music/game shop when they were shutting down.

I feel like Tetris Effect was pretty popular when it came out. I personally love Tetris, I've played a tooon of Tetris Worlds for the GBA on my handheld emulator. Hours of addicitve fun!

Mine was yoyo9348. Yoyo because I had a phase in my early teens where I though yo-yos were really cool (I knew like 3 tricks), 93 because it's the year I was born, and 48 because I guess I just thought it was a cool number. Makes perfect sense, I know.

Anders got a reaction from Shortie in Is Gamerscore important to you?
I was really into earning achievements and collecting gamerscore back in the 360 era, but not so much any more. If I've beaten a game and see that I am just missing a few, easy to get achievements to 100% the game, I might go back and do them, but not if it involves something I wouldn't consider fun.

Anders got a reaction from Shortie in What are some of the most innovative features introduced in the latest generation of video game consoles?
I got an Xbox Series X about two months ago, and for me the absolute biggest next gen thing is quick resume. I absolutely love being able to switch between the last couple of games I've been playing in a matter of seconds. I love my PS5 as well, but I really wish it had a similar feature.

Not technically the last movie I watched, but I recently watched Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and I really enjoyed it. It's a perfect example of a movie that is meant for kids, is still enjoyable for adults. The same can not be said for The Emoji Movie, which I also watched recently for some reason. That movie had exactly one funny joke (in my opinion), and it was in the first 5 minutes. Puss in Boots however was enjoyable all the way through, had some genuinely funny moments, and I really loved the animation style. Reminded me a lot of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse

I certainly used to think so. I had an RGB strip inside my PC case, one on the back of my desk, as well as a full RGB keyboard and mouse. I'm now pretty much officially past that phase. My mouse has no lights, my keyboard just has a white backlight, I just have a normal desk lamp, and the stip inside my case has been disconnected.
I still think RGB can look pretty sick in certain setups, but I personally prefer a more clean look nowadays.

I absolutely agree. The only soulsborn game I've spent any siginicant amount of time with is Elden Ring, and although I did enjoy what I played of it, I definitely think it's way overrated. I mean, I do see why people think it's a good game, but people talk about it like it's the second coming of Jesus and the best game that's ever been made.
Most of the time I played it was spent doing the same things over and over again to farm XP, just so I could level up enough to not die in two hits. The game does not explain anything at all to you, so you have to look up what pretty much every item you pick up does. I won't comment to much on the story, but as far as I got, there wasn't much story to be had.
I've never been a fan of extreme difficulty in games. I'm fine with a bit of a challenge, but having to replay the same boss fight 20-30 times is just excruciating to me. Whenever I try saying that to a soulsborn fan however, the answer is always the same:
    "Git gud"

Hello everyone, my name is Anders.
I created an account on this forum a little over two years ago, made a few posts, and then frankly kind of forgot about the whole thing. Well, I just logged back in, and it seems I never made an introduction.
I am 30 years old, live in Norway, and have played video games for as long as I can remember. I love pretty much everything about gaming, from playing new games, to collecting old games and hardware. I'm also an avid photography enthusiast, both analog and digital, and I also dabble in playing both guitar and bass.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

Anders got a reaction from killamch89 in Wireless or wired?
Wireless all the way baby. I recently got a wireless mechanical keyboard and cable managed my whole desk setup, so there are finally no visible wires on my desk. My keyboard lasts for about 2 weeks before I need to charge it, my headset for about 30 hours, and my mouse lasts for months upon months on one battery, so I very rarely need to have a cable there to charge anything. Both my mouse and keyboard are made by Logitech, who have damn near perfected wireless transmission in my opinon, so there is absolutely no noticeable input lag.
The only thing that I do prefer wired, as others have pointed out, is internet. My PC and consoles are all wired up with ethernet, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I tend to agree with this, but I'm pretty biased as this was when I grew up. I had a PS1 as a kid and loved games like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, but I also finally got an N64 earlier this year and was very positively surprised by how well these games have held up. Games like Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, GoldenEye, Gauntlet Legends, Starfox and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron are still so much fun to play.

I remember setting mine to Underground because teenage me though it sounded cool, even though I had very little idea of what it actually did.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is that on the PS2, you can rotate the PlayStation logo so that you can have it the right way up both in horizontal and vertical mode. I just learned this quite recently and was blown away.

I hate, HATE when I start a new mobile game and it forces you through one of those mandatory, extremely hand-holdy tutorials. You know the kind that walks you through every mechanic of the game, with huge arrows point to an option and won't let you click anything else? If a game has one of those I get pretty tempted to just uninstall it right then and there.
