For me, Bethesda games have that je ne sais quoi. Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 are all great games that immerse you in interesting worlds. Not played Skyrim VR, but I imagine that would be immersive af.
^ I agree with Keranov. Dead By Daylight and Friday The 13th: The Game are both fun with friends. Aliens Vs Predator (2010) has some fun MP modes, too.
FTL: Faster Than Light is on iPad and it's a perfect fit on a tablet. Also, Darkest Dungeon, The Executive, Legend Of Grimrock, Monument Valley, Year Walk, Papers Please and Reigns are all excellent, too.
Best price I could find it. https://www.base.com/buy/product/shadow-of-the-tomb-raider-ps4/dgc-strps4.htm?1=1&awc=2694_1541072286_c5303ccf9e45df16c121e1ba75461247
Back when I used to play a ton of COD zombies, I met up with TheRelaxingEnd who's a pretty famous COD zombies YouTuber. He added me, too. Played quite a few games with him and he's super nice and lovely to game with.
What monsters can you think of are both super cute but also super nasty? For example, the basilisks from Dark Souls (the frog-like critters found in the depths) are pretty cute-looking but they can curse you which is a real ball-ache.
I also played Call Of Cthulhu recently for review and, man, was it *weird*. Worth checking out if you’re a fan of HP Lovecraft and unsettling, get-under-your-skin horror experiences. https://wegotthiscovered.com/gaming/call-of-cthulhu-review/
I usually opt for one-handed weapons so it frees my other hand up for magic or a shield. But I occasionally dabble with two-handed weapons to see how powerful they are.
Yeah, I'm a little like you I think. Sometimes realistic games tend to lose sense of what's, you know, fun. That's maybe why I prefer arcade racers over racing sims. But each to their own. I'm glad people out there like racing sims, they're just not for me.
