I occasionally have a few glasses of wine/a few cheeky vodka and cokes while gaming. Just helps me to relax sometimes. I don't do it all the time, but it's nice to chill out with a drink while chilling out with a video game, too. 🙂

Been playing the shit out of ELEX and The Technomancer recently as I had an itch for some mid-tier open-world RPG action. Though they may not be everyone's fave RPGs, I still find them to be super fun guilty pleasure video games.

Indie devs will undoubtedly be the main victims if Stadia gains traction.

It’ll likely fail overall but there’ll be a small market for it, I guess. Sounds like a disaster atm as internet infrastructure is still a way off to support this imho.

I’m into horror and if I made a movie it would probably have a low budget. Thus, I would opt for a found footage horror movie akin to Blair Witch. I think a key part is not showing the monster/antagonist very much on camera. Makes it scarier.

Definitely RE2 Remake (2019). Maybe throw World War Z, Sekiro and Metro Exodus into the “maybe” pile.

I enjoy reading reviews (I think there’s an art to writing them, personally). But, yes, the only person’s opinion who you can 100% trust is your own (like Blackangel said above). I tend to watch a mixture of gameplay videos and read/watch some professional reviews before pulling the trigger on a game.

Can’t play Xbox discs in a PC as far as I know.

I’m a fan of Tower Defense games too. Sounds cool. Will give it a download.

Generally go with the default character, as I’m really not that fussy about the way I look. That said, if I have a lot of choice I tend to skew towards a character that looks a bit like me so I can connect with it more.

Also there’s a free-to-play Mech shooter on PS4 called HAWKEN that’s quite fun.

I used to love Mech Warrior 2 back on PC. Pretty old game, but solid nonetheless. Also, I’ve heard Armoured Core is decent, but not played the series myself.
