  1. I’m a big fan of handheld consoles. Always have a Switch or Vita with me when I go on trips/holidays. I think my favourite is the PS Vita as it’s got a very underrated library of great games. From indies, to JRPGs, to some triple-A shooters like Uncharted, Killzone and Unit 13, the Vita is a bit of a beast. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Switch, but the Vita has a special place in my heart, too. What’s your favourite handheld system?
  2. So Google’s new gaming platform has been announced. It’s a streaming-focused platform that’s very powerful. The price and games catalogue haven’t been confirmed yet. Would you be interested in it? How much do you think it will cost per month? Personally, I feel like I need more information before deciding, though it’s an interesting idea. Still, I think I’ll always prefer tradional, native gaming consoles because I’m used to them and that’s what I’ve grown up with. Plus my internet is mediocre and any latency would be a nightmare for me.
  3. Thanks @StaceyPowers. That’s very kind of you! Unfortunately, as I was member of the month last month I won’t be able to run this time. Cheers, though! 🙂
  4. I always find enemies within video games quite interesting. From their aesthetic design, to their motivation, to their AI. For me, one of the most memorable and creative enemies for a long while has to be the Big Daddies from Bioshock. They look so cool in their retro-fitted deep sea diver suit and I actually empathise with their noble mission to protect the Little Sisters from the Splicers. What video game enemies are memorable, or creative and have resonated with you?
  5. Overcooked with my wee daughter 🙂
  6. Sweet deal here. https://www.thegamecollection.net/deus-ex-mankind-divided-day-one-edition-xbox-one/
  7. Good price. Pretty sure their Battle Royale mode Firestorm is launching soon, too. https://www.cdkeys.com/xbox-live/games/battlefield-5-deluxe-edition-xbox-one-cd-key
  8. After Google’s gaming platform announcement, it seems like Apple wanna piece of the gaming pie, too. How’d you feel about this? https://uk.ign.com/articles/2019/03/25/apple-arcade-games-subscription-service-announced
  9. Sweet price here. https://www.simplygames.com/p/grand-theft-auto-v-gta-5-ps4
  10. I bought a PSVR around its launch and I was impressed with it. Played a lot of VR games but the ones that I really liked were Until Dawn A Rush Of Blood, Thumper, RE7 and PSVR Worlds (the underwater shark cage one is very memorable). I ended up trading it in, as I was broke and it began gathering dust after a while. Still, it’s cool tech but very much in its infancy. Would be interested in picking one up when there’s less wires and there’s a solid library of must-play games.
  11. Great deal! https://www.simplygames.com/p/nierautomata-game-of-the-yorha-edition-ps4
  12. Spiritual successor to Theme Hospital (some of the same devs worked on it). Supposed to be really good. https://uk.gamesdeal.com/two-point-hospital-pc-cloud-activation.html
  13. I think the key to a store like that would be to focus on retro and vintage games/consoles as well as modern games. Pre-owned games is still a big business and vintage/retro gaming is actually *growing* in popularity. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Good price here. https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/south-park-the-fractured-but-whole-uplay--3052-1?ref=
  15. I’ve played the Zombie spin-off and very much enjoyed my time with that. The slo-mo kill cam is very cool. Enjoy - Glad to be of help!
  16. This is a nice gesture from Bethesda. Awesome game, too. https://www.polygon.com/2019/3/25/18280778/morrowind-free-elder-scrolls-25th-anniversary
  17. Sweet price. The slo-mo kill-cam looks so epic in these games. https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/sniper-elite-3-afrika-pc-cd-key?mw_aref=74dth566
  18. Good price. https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/battlefield-4-pc?mw_aref=74dth566
  19. I’ve played Crypt of the Necrodancer and it’s a good game. It takes a lot of getting used to mechanically, but once you “get into the groove”, it’s a really satisfying experience. I knew the dev of CotN was handling development of this Zelda game but I didn’t realise it was going to be so much like CotN. Colour me intrigued.
  20. Great price here. https://www.cdkeys.com/xbox-live/games/metro-last-light-redux-xbox-one-cd-key?mw_aref=74dth566
  21. At the moment, I’m having a blast revisiting the OG Bioshock on PS4. I haven’t played it in a long time and I’m happy to report that it absolutely still holds up. What a game. Metro Exodus, COD: WW2 and Assassin’s Creed are also keeping me busy, too.
  22. Sweet deal here. https://www.indiegala.com/crackerjack
  23. Interesting intel here. I really do want to see an ending to the Alien prequel movies. Leaving the big, mysterious cliffhanger of Alien: Covenant open would bother me too much! How’d y’ all feel about a new Alien movie? https://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/ridley-scott-working-alien-covenant-2/
  24. Includes delivery. Hell of a deal. https://www.thegamecollection.net/nba-2k18-switch/
  25. I wasn’t impressed with it. Loved the original 3D one on PC back in the day. Gearbox’s one wasn’t funny, lacked heart and felt archaic. Didn’t help that its visuals were subpar and the game crashed on me constantly.
