If I love a game, I often buy the dlc once I’ve finished the main story. It depends, though. Some games are so massive, like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for example, I tend to just want move onto the next game after I’m done.
I used to love playing demos. Used to get them on discs free in gaming magazines - remember them?! I tend not to play demos as much as I used to. Usually I just wait for the full release of the game to avoid spoiling the experience. I think PT was the last “demo” I played.
Just curious to see if anyone wants to share what book they're reading at the moment, and whether you recommend it or not. I'm currently reading The Shining by Stephen King and it's phenomenal.
Great song. Sad news about Keith Flint. My mate met him at an airport and he did a Xenomorph impression to Keith Flint and Flint loved it apparently. RIP Keith Flint.
What is your favourite Xenomorph movie? Mine flits between Ridley Scott's OG 1979 Alien and James Cameron's Aliens? Both are exceptional. How about you?
I thought the Life Is Strange series (both the OG series and the Before The Storm prequels), Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Heavy Rain all had some difficult choices thrown in there that made me think. The morally grey areas definitely make an emotional impact on me and that generally helps make it a more memorable experience.
Supposed to be a great game. https://www.base.com/buy/product/owlboy-nintendo-switch/dgc-owlbns.htm?1=1&awc=2694_1552132478_2323a63a3be8ae9661d1c8c7b3cbc041
I’ve got a retro gaming print canvas that was painted for me by a colleague in work for a secret santa. It’s a mashup of old-school classic imagery like a pixel Mario, a Space Invaders sprite with some Tetris blocks, too. Suffice to say, it’s super cool.
