  1. Hmm, I just can't get your point bro. How can you expect Messi to put in a defender's show in matches just to cover up for defenders. It is not his role, Messi is a born finisher and a creator, he dribbles and opens the space for teammates to score. And again, he retains possession and doesn't lose the ball casually. So, it is hard for the opposition to hold more of the ball than Messi's own team. That makes Messi more comfortable playing, he doesn't need to go defend for the team.
  2. What you said is absolutely true. Maguire is a poor defender, his current coach is just protecting him if you read about 'Ten Hag's recent comment around 'harry maguire. Most of his performances and hilarious shows he put on his teammates was cut into short comic scenes, harry maguire is just disgracing himself.
  3. Normally when players change team and to a different league, they do struggle. Some doesn't, they start in flying colours. But most players who starts off in a flying colour via a particular team ends up being unsuccessful. Let's see if Nunez will be a hit or miss when the premier league season gets to its business end.
  4. Messi defends too, he marks but not often time. You don't expect your attacking minded player to do the dirty job for you as a manager and still go for the goals. Mess reserves his best energy for the business aspect of the game, which is to grind out results for the team.
  5. Very funny indeed, Alex Ferguson always do that. I used to wonder if he wants to cut the referees ear, when whispering to them. That's just his tricks to decisive the referees to do his wish and overturn the scoreline in their favour.
  6. Pre-season hurts too, but it doesn't count much. I remembered one certain time, Barca lost to Liverpool 4-0 in a preseason match, it pained me too but not like the 4-0 UCL loss at anfield in 2019.
  7. Yes, he's a Real legend, even without his heroics last season. But last season made it more interacting for the France international. Their is no doubt to what you've said, he has performed more than his younger years. Some players form the habit of outperforming their younger age when they hit 30 years and above. Ronaldo added three more UCL titles during his 30s.
  8. Not for me, I wouldn't go on spending $200 on this game. It is closer to the amount used in buying PS4, if you add another $200.
  9. Ohh, you took my reply from Heatman, I was thinking you were the one. It is Heatman who said such that he has completed the game. I'll wait to see from him, how he did just that around a difficult game like that.
  10. Even if France or Brazil wins the world cup either in 2022 or beyond, both will still struggle to win the balloon d'or, if they don't put the show that will put smiles in the face of their fans. Take a look at what KB9 did last season, such performances last season was a complete standout performance, no one got close to him. That's the kind of performances we want to see from Ney, before he can be considered a balloon d'or contender anytime.
  11. You're welcome @Yaramaki, the sports section has been my most preferred niche here on VGR. Back on topic: Here is my take on player transfers this summer, here are the best deals so far for me, it doesn't matter if they're gotten for free or not. What I see in them is potential to succeed in their current team. - R. Lewandowski - FC Bayern Munichen - FC Barcelona '€50m including add-ons. That's the best transfer for the season, who came in the back of having 50 goal haul last season, claiming the European golden shoe once again. - Darwin Nunez, Benfica FC - Liverpool FC '£64m. Nunez is seen by many as a potential red's legend, be has the potential to seize his opportunity so great in the premier league this season. Let's see how it goes for Darwin Nunez when the season gets underway. - Erling Haaland, from Borusia Dortmund to Manchester city - '£51m. Erling Haaland's father played for city who bears the name 'Alfie Haaland, and was a star back then, when his son 'Erling, used to be a fan boy for the club. Now, the son is a player, this time, I believe he'll perform incredibly more than what his father achieved with the club. He got the potential of becoming a premier league top goal scorer if he puts on the show during his stay at Dortmund, and hopefully become a city legend if he plays for good number of years and keeping his current standards or doing better. Other notable transfer options I truly admired are; - Raheem sterling, from Manchester city - Chelsea '£47.5. - Gabriel Jesus, from Manchester city - to Arsenal - £45m. He has plenty goals already in their ongoing pre-season tour. - Raphinha - Leeds united to FC Barcelona - '£49m.
  12. I was thinking you've completed it based on your first comment here, that's actually what I was insinuating, which got me surprised.
  13. - NBA Jam - Vainglory - Cat Quest II - Overcooked This are multiplayer arcade games both for kids and adults to have good time playing.
  14. Hmm, it is surprising to me seeing that you completed the game. Like how many months did it take you to round of Ghost Of Tsushima? Because it isn't a game you complete within few days, even if you spend your life there.
  15. The only feature I love in electronic arts games is mainly their storytelling mode, which is a household addiction in their FIFA franchise series. It's been a while I played the series due to mediocre gameplay.
  16. Games are sliced bit by bit and sold very incomplete, then update patches to make more money. What video game studios are doing is complete broad day light extortion.
  17. When you don't go out and staining your hands, then, you don't have to wash your hands regularly. But it is cool to wash your hands after some hours even if you don't stain it just to keep it clean and away from bacteria living on your hands.
  18. Justin has no meaning, it's just a male given name. I don't know what my parents saw in the name and gave it to me, lol.
  19. Do you remember that, when you eat too much in your friends place, you'll downgrade yourself. Because, you never know the one who will say, 'you don't even say thank you for once. I don't eat from my friend's place, I love staying cool, and not facing such speech from him. Not all friends does that, but I've witnessed such scenario often with others who love eating with their friends all the time.
  20. I nearly burnt yesterday night due to excessive heat, no power here in my vicinity to put the ceiling fan on at least. Even if the ceiling fan makes hell if noise, at least it could've saved the day for me.
  21. - Alpha Protocol. - Brutal Legend. - Killer 7. This are few games I've played in the past were their gameplay is so bad. I can't fancy my hands wasting it on those games, they're gameplay was so mediocre.
  22. The best way for manchester united to silent the critics is to, win something for their fans with all the players they've added in their rank recently. Man United have purchased Christian Erikson and other notable names, let's see what the season holds for them.
  23. Have you completed Ghost of Tsushima and GTA V? I've never seen or heard anyone completing Ghost of Tsushima, you're the first to claim it, that's great if you've completed the game.
  24. - The Legend of Korra - Gravity Falls, This are two cartoon shows in the last decade that really made me to smile during my teenage years.
  25. - Yankee Girls, Igodo, Egg of life, are all iconic nollywood movies I truly loved. Watching them over and over never get boring, due to their interesting plot and the characters that performed in those movies.
