  1. My schedule nowadays is: 15 minute doing a machine exercise to burn 100 calories 5 minute break 15 minute doing another machine exercise to burn 100 calories. 5 minute break 5 minutes on the Chest or Shoulder press(usually 7 sets, 7 reps) 5 minute break 5 minutes on the Leg press. It would be ideal if I could squeeze some cardio in there but unfortunately my gym got rid of all the mats for some bizarre reason and my home is so cramped there's literally no space to do that unless I do it on the stairs.
  2. Lady Gaga. Yes, i'm a zoomer.
  3. Tried UNO on PS4 and it seemed very weird. Like there was these new rules they added iirc.
  4. Personally, I can't really say it is any of the games I have played this year(Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy 16, etc). I think 2023 wasn't as great a year of gaming as people make it out to be and the games that have came out were underwhelming. But I think my GOTY will be a game that I intend on playing as soon as I get back onto my PS5 and that game is Ghostrunner 2. It looks very similar to the original which was just perfection. I cannot judge for sure yet however.
  5. I wish this was the case haha. I think if you play very fast paced games like fighters and hack n slash it can level up your reactions.
  6. I would say more so visuals as a whole(factoring in the art style, not just raw graphical prowess). There are games with good graphics but still look ugly because they aim too much for realism and games with PS2 level graphics that still look crisp. But if I had to answer then yes. I don't get why people always undersell graphical quality as a factor in which a game can be judged. It is a factor which improves the enjoyment of the game just like the gameplay, storytelling, OST, content etc(although not as important as the first two factors).
  7. I think many games will simulators due to VR and graphics becoming indistinguishable from real life. Just like how cinematic oriented western games have become the norm over the past 10-15 years due to the huge leap in graphics.
  8. No. I like the excitement of purchasing physical content and don't like subscribtion services where you have to continually pay to have access to games.
  9. I'll just copy paste an entire thread I wrote about a game a while back Hot take: Ghostrunner is the greatest game of all time - Follows a traditional linear level based encounter to encounter format(like DMC for example) without frequent forced slow walking which is a rarity in modern games - Game systems are very straightforward. Combat mostly boils down to dodge, jump, slash, dash, air dash, use your power making it easy to get into whilst simultaneously having a VERY high skill ceiling. Customising your perks is pretty simple, you just place upgrade tetris blocks" into this box and the amount of upgrades you can have are limited by how much space is left to fit in new blocks. - No live service bullshit, the only DLC released is project HEL and a few skins for the sword but that's about it - Unique, satisfying combat which constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat like no other game. You die in one hit whilst having to dodge lasers and enemies everywhere in high speed action. Like DOOM eternal but you can't shoot(which makes it even more high risk and intense). - Varied and challenging enemy design - Level design is very engaging and stage gimmicks(like slow down or shuriken power ups) are implemented in fun ways which require precise timing and spice things up but aren't overdone to the point of exhaustion. - Movement is incredibly fun where you grapple, slide, wall run everywhere at high speeds. - Speaking of which, wall running exists and has no limitations. You can wall run on pretty much anything. In fact the game was BUILT around speedrunners doing crazy skips/sequence breaks with wall running. - You instantly respawn after death which keeps you constantly in the action - Killer synthwave soundtrack - Cool cyberpunk authoritarian dystopia aesthetic/setting - No cutscenes that break the flow of the game but instead exposition and dialogue happens as you explore through each level - Engaging storyline where you are thrown in the middle of a rebel coup as a cyborg who has just been woken up and gradually learn more and more about what's going on and how things became the way they are in the dystopia.
  10. I remember playing the PS1 diablo as a kid. "AHH FRESH MEAT" is permanently ingrained into my memory lol.
  11. Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy XVI releasing in the same month. What more can someone ask for?
  12. I like the lore in Tales of the Abyss, very deep and intriguing lore.
  13. I couldn't even make it past two hours in that game. The world seemed completely empty, climbing felt boring/restrictive, nothing about it pulled me in.
  14. It got revealed in 2020, delayed in like late 2020 or early 2021 and we haven't heard of it since. Do you guys think it got canceled?
  15. You plan on getting Zelda TOTK sometime?
  16. This post sounds like something that I would have saw on that subreddit. Basically minority or female conservatives who are surprised conservatives ended up turning on them because they're "one of the good ones".
  17. What games do you think represent a cult following well with it's fanbase? Right off the bat i'm going to say Forspoken. It has been given a lot of hate online but there are a small but dedicated group of people who enjoyed it and think it didn't deserve all the hate(including me). And also because I think people will mellow out towards it overtime. The magic systems are very unique and fun but a lot of people can't look past the dialogue because of MCU fatigue, I feel like in 10 years from now people will look back on it as a game underrated for it's time and will buy it to check it out.
  18. Horizon Forbidden West maybe? Probably not it's hard to answer "for all time" but this was a very big recent letdown. Plot is decent but very lackluster compared to ZD. I don't like how half of the main plot just feels like side quests unlike the more focused narrative of ZD. The actual conflicts in the forbidden west between the different tribes should have played a more prominent role. Gameplay feels like a step backwards with some of the changes they made. Machines feel overly spongey. Heavy attacks feel weightless now and you have to hold charge to get knockdowns. The "super modes" do more harm than good, I don't like that it slows the pace of the gameplay down and it doesn't feel fitting for this type of game. You also have to change them in the main menu which gets tedious. I didn't like the new weapons, besides maybe the elemental boltblaster. I didn't really like the changes to crafting either that made it more restrictive. Graphics hardly look different(this game should have been PS5 exclusive). I do like how you get the option to play in 60fps though. I feel like ZD just went way too hard for a first entry and as a result the sequel couldn't really do anything to improve on it as a result.
  19. Hows it going guys? What games have you been playing this past year?
