For me, it was the Chocobo Trainer Race mini game, which is also part of a side quest to get Tidus' ultimate weapon in FFX. Those stupid birds swoop in from nowhere at all, at random. I hate that mini game. I hate it with every fiber of my being. I got so upset, I almost broke my controller.

I'll throw Batman Beyond for the PS1 in the mix as a contender. It's been years since I've played it and I still remember it as absolutely awful.

Thanks for keeping this thread going. It's always tough to remember to check in on Epic. I'm in Steam way more often. Even though Epic has some really choice games available.

Mmm. Yes. The art direction in that is pretty on point. I forgot that I also like the Samurai Champloo theme.

In as much as PC is good I had a better experience playing on my ps4 and From what empire said about switch been strained with this game the PlayStation 4 has a much better performance and having a much wider TV screen would compensate for the fonts size as well.

It's actually $49.99 on steam, The Digital Deluxe Edition on Playstation Store is $499.99, the standard Edition for $39.99 and the same thing for Xbox at $49.99.
They are basically sold at the same price.

Even though I'm a big fan of gaming on consoles but with this one, I'd say that playing it on PC would give you a better gaming experience with a much great performance and modding which makes it stand out completely.

These days? Sleep. I work a lot, and then there's the kid. So, sleep is what I like to do for fun. But, when I actually have some free time, I draw. I build things. The last 5 or so years, I've been building dice jails of various sizes for use in TTRPG groups. But I've done larger work, like built simple furniture and done modifications to bought furniture to make it fit a space better. I like working with my hands. I like hiking and biking too. I learned some Karate in HS, and sometimes I work that into my exercise routine. I haven't had time to lately, but I'd love to get that back in my workout again because it feels good.
I'm still living in the same state I was born, though I've visited other states. I'm originally from the Bronx, NY. I've lived in the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and in Westchester County. A lot of people go to Manhattan and never venture outside it. But, I'd recommend exploring the boroughs if you do come here. Especially if you like your food. There's a lot of good food if you're willing to venture out a little farther. I'm bummed that some of my favorite places closed during the pandemic, but I'm sure I'll find some new delicious eats.

It's not just the chocobo race, all the mini games that you need to play to get those items to fully unlock the celestial weapons are a nightmare. If they aren't hard to do to the point where it's barely possible, they're cryptic, if the aren't cryptic, there's an insane grind or possibly a combination. They can break even the most patient gamers.

Start with whatever you have on hand or can afford, because starting at all is better than waiting until the equipment you have is perfect. Make sure you can keep at it regularly before you invest any real $ into it, because eventually it becomes work to keep at it, and not everyone sticks with it once it gets to that point. Also, it's going to take awhile for you to build up enough of an audience to get sponsorships. So, don't break the bank on something you're not going to see a return on for awhile.  But if and when you're ready to, sound is the most important part, even if you're doing video. So, go for that good mic first.
I've heard good things about the blue yeti mic. I use the samson meteor.

I didn't get to play nearly enough new 3DS games. I ended uploading up my 3DS with on sale and virtual console games. Though, admittedly, I cannot stop playing Fire Emblem Awakening.

Agreed that 300 million seems like a fire sale price for those franchises. If Square Enix wasn't properly utilizing the IP they had, it's better off elsewhere. Every time someone mentions video games and NFTs/Blockchain in the same sentence, my eyes roll just a little bit harder.

I was just about to mention Burnout. I was never crazy about Burnout Paradise. But I loved 3 and I still play Burnout Legends on my PSP. I've never been huge into sim racing, but I will try to cause four car pile ups on the way to the finish line all. day. long.

I've said it elsewhere on the forum, but I would love to see some of the older Burnout games come back, especially Burnout 3. I doubt EA will do it because they want the world to believe the bullshit that Started with Burnout Paradise is what these types of games are supposed to be like.

harleyqbx got a reaction from Justin11 in Which mobile games drains your smartphone battery faster?
It depends on how you game on your phone. If you're right near a charger, no problem. If you commute to work on public transportation, or you're on a long drive as a passenger, you don't have a steady power supply and don't want your phone to die in an hour. It's a problem then.
The only time I've kind of had that problem, where my phone battery comes close to draining faster than it can charge, is when I use my phone as a webcam for video meeting for work. Epoccam is the only non-gaming app that's that intense, but it's also a great app, imo. So, I'll deal with it.

I don't see anything coming out for the rest of the year that I'm like OMG gotta get it. But, I saw that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is coming out for the Switch, and I'd be down for playing those again. Loved the first one on the GBA.

It's good that both YouTube and Twitch are keeping each other on their toes with the kind of competition they bring into the industry. It's the only way they will keep giving their users their very best services, otherwise we would see some of the things we witness with some gaming companies that have monopoly over a game's franchise (EA in FIFA).
