The last game I played was Pet Simulator 99. It is a very chill game that I like to have playing on my TV as I work or do other things I need to get done. Need to get back on Fortnite though, not played that as much as I would normally.

I myself have a video gaming YouTube channel where I have posted my clips, past broadcasts and so much more in the past. I would love to have more time to create more video game content but at the moment, my main job is front and centre. Advice I would give to those who are wanting to start out with YouTube is have a plan, think about what you want to create whether it be tutorials, video game shorts, live stream videos etc and stick to it, find a schedule that works best for you to upload and stick to it, stay consistent. No one every succeeds over night and that is the same with YouTube, it could take months or years before you see success.

I know there are video game museums available but I have never been to one myself. I will admit, it would be something I would be interested in visiting as I can only imagine what you would see and being a video gamer most of my life since I was three years old, it would be awesome to look to see how gaming used to be.

One of my biggest hobbies is playing video games so it is something I do look for but it is not a solid requirement. Me and my other half are both video gamers and it is a big hobby of ours which does help in our relationship. We have even live streamed together such as in co-streams when Mixer had co-streams and we have streamed together not as a co-stream too.

I will stop listening to Christmas music as well tomorrow and the party tracks will make an appearance ready for New Year :)I feel from November to around the 28th December is perfect for Christmas music but any earlier or later than that, it's too much.

Takeaway meals are great as a treat once a week for a break from cooking if you have cooked every day of the week. I tend to cook my own meals daily but don't mind taking that one day off and it is always a treat for a takeaway when we do that too.

The last thing I ate was some party food we had left over a mince pie, and a turkey sandwich. Can't beat a turkey sandwich around Christmas!

I find a lot of people tend to do this now, the fun and enjoyment regarding New Year doesn't seem the same anymore and most would just rather sleep through it. I feel the pandemic changed a lot of things but I know of people who did this before then too.

When do you take your Christmas decorations down?
Shortie replied to svjiminfxv's topic in General Chat
When it comes to Christmas decorations and me taking them down, I always take them down around a day or two after New Years Day as I feel that is when I want to get back to normality and get everything organized and my house back in order. I know of some people who take them down on the day after or even later on the day because they do not like the clutter. -
We do not have a GameStop in the UK but we have a similar store called Game, they are the same they tend to sell more collectibles than they do physical games now and it does make me wonder if soon, they may just stop selling physical games altogether. Even going in the store you can a lot of the time buy games digitally too so having them physical is usually pointless. Most of the time, the games that are physical that sell are used games that have been sold to the store for credit. I do believe one day we will see physical games no longer available in stores such as GameStop or Game in the UK and digital fully taking over. These stores will simply sit as a place to buy gaming collectibles.

I have often wondered this myself, from what I understand, The Simpsons is still quite popular and I feel a new game on the newest generation of consoles would be welcomed for sure. I have always said about seeing remakes of The Simpsons Hit and Run and also Road Rage but we do not seem to be getting those but a new game would be welcomed with open arms I feel.

I took some days off work the last few days for Christmas and spent it with my family. I last played Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing on Fortnite last night which was a lot of fun. I have noticed that I have spent a lot less time on battle royale since the new modes released.

With digital games being as popular as they are now and there being no need to always head out anymore to get a game on release, I would be shocked if we saw another release party again. It's a shame as they were a lot of fun to be involved with and due to digital taking over, they seem to have phased out pretty fast. A new release doesn't have the same experience as it used to anymore which is a shame.

Do you get the same excitement video games used to give you as a kid?
Shortie replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
It really depends on the game as to how excited I get to be honest, for example with Fortnite and the updates, I find that I get excited about those as much as I used to as a kid with a new game but others I don't seem to get as excited for. -
Even though I have always been interested in working on a video game and being involved in the development of one, it has not been something I have been able to do. I know my brother was involved with a group of his friends at University in developing a game and he said he had a lot of fun working on it and developing the game.

The last thing I ate was a korma curry and boiled rice. Korma is the one that I know I can eat and enjoy as it isn't too spicy but it has the flavour there, great comfort food too!

One thing I really enjoy about Christmas dinner is having all the family around one table eating and just talking and being together. We don't always get that often as everyone is so busy so it is nice to have that around Christmas. I also really enjoy the pigs in blankets and the pudding and custard for dessert 🙂

I don't mind the snow if I do not have to be anywhere and I can just sit in and watch the snow instead of being out in it. The worst is when the snow starts to melt and it turns to slush and becomes icy, that stuff if deadly and one I hate to go out in, I feel that is what we tend to get a lot in England though and it's frustrating.

When I was younger, my walls used to be filled with posters of a boyband I was a huge fan of which was 5ive. Now I don't tend to have posters at all and instead just have mini plaques so to speak with sayings on them or family photos around the home on my walls.

I last drank a glass of Pepsi with my dinner not too long ago. Before that it was a cup of tea.

I hate it when men say this and they really do believe what they say, that we are playing hard-to-get and I feel that makes it a whole lot worse. If a woman says no and tells you to stop doing something, that should be it no excuses. I would have to say the creepiest thing a male did to me was try to touch me inappropriately whilst I was sleeping or trying to sleep at a friends house after a party, I pushed him away and told him no but he still continued to the point of where I had to move.

I would have to say money, this is something that could help in so many different ways and stress would be one of them. Knowing you were financially stable to that extent would lift so much weight. It's something that it not likely but would be nice.

I remember the manuals but I don't remember writing in them myself, I do remember my cousin writing in an Alex the Kidd one he had once on how to beat the Rock, Paper, Scissors mini game so that we could complete it. Most of the time the manuals just sat in the cases and that was where they stayed.

What happened to these Minecraft door textures?
Shortie replied to BlazeNinja22's topic in Video Games
This is very unusual and not something I have seen myself before. Usually when uninstalling the game and installing it again, it tends to fix any issues that were in the current install you are on now. Hopefully that helps and you can get it fixed as it does seem like a pain to deal with.- 4 replies

Do you use protective cases for all of your retro games?
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I don't have many retro games but of the ones I do have, I tend to keep them in plastic cases so they stay safe. I know of some people who specifically buy cases and print out their own sheets for them to label them which also sounds like a good idea if you are able to do that .
