  1. I played it. I was a kid in the 1980s (was born in 1976). Nonetheless, I remember little of it. However, I do like the modern Donkey Kong games a lot!

    CPU over heating

Of course, you can never go wrong with adding more fans. In fact, a computer generally can handle any amount of cold, except maybe sci-fi scenarios - lol, but not much heat. However, though, my computer, not a gaming one, has never overheated - but it has got hot enough to signal the fans inside (to go into hyper-drive).
  3. I have a pre-built PC, not a gaming one. Anyway, I'm not keen on really knowing if custom is better than pre-built. Anyway, I certainly want a gaming one - because the better graphics and memory is suitable for 3D art creation (one of my hobbies).
  4. I've heard this excuse online: "We didn't do anything to them (imperialism etc.) so we don't owe them anything.". That's an excuse some Asians were giving on this ultra-nationalist forum (in response to backward views about blacks). However, no, that's not excuse for bigotry, hate, and ignorance.
  5. As noted in some other rants, it seems like nothing is good now in rock, pop, or rap. There are no super-groups as in the past. It just seems that way! O.K. what is to blame? Well, could it be music downloads? I mean, it takes away the incentive to make music - as it just isn't the same as before the internet took over.

    Country Music

There are some good super-groups in country pop (what is called country) - but I see/hear nothing in the other generes - as noted in my other thread. I mean, there was something breathtaking - like U2, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin - surely we'd hear about it!
  7. Some people are claiming country pop is being passed as country. Now, while I agree that is the case, that doesn't mean it's bad, necessarily - only that "country pop" should have a different name - not country. Anyway, at least country pop doesn't sound that bad - and I haven't heard anything at all interesting in other genres, generally. I mean, what? Nickleback? Another hard rock Phil Collins or George Michael remake?
  8. Well, to be honest, lol - plenty of people say those things - who aren't famous. I mean, there are guys on Facebook - basically speaking to people as though they're Greek gods. Constant unwanted fatherly advice from them, more political stuff they probably wouldn't say to someone's face etc.. - often under the cover of humor, of course.. Well, I won't say this stuff is always harassment; there is an audience. Also, I'm not crying like a snowflake, only noting how irritatingly preachy it is.
  9. Not being a goody-two-shoes, but I don't like doing things illegally. I mean, I won't say I haven't downloaded things illegally before - but, as a rule - I don't really like it. Anyway, one fear is getting caught - and the other ones relate to simply "the cheating of people". I mean, people have to make a living - and if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't want it done to me.
  10. That's what the ones - other than Game Stop - appear to be doing. Maybe a personal relationship with clients would make up. People like places - where they like and know the owners.
  11. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/06/28/britains-850000-polish-citizens-face-backlash-after-brexit-vote/ This simply just mirrors the hate lashed out at illegal/legal Latinos in the US. Anyway, what can be done about the problem? Anyway, it's interesting to note that Poles contribute more, than they take away - at least it seems to some, but this could be subjective.
  12. Going to prison is just more for the legend, more for the fans. It can lead to way more record sales. I mean, who are we kidding here? Also, it's their chance to show they're tough and can relate to average people etc..
  13. Sorry to be snarky - lol - but isn't Goldbach a Jewish name? Just kidding guys! 😀 Anyone else see that?
  14. There seems to be huge frustration with Eastern Europeans, who are the Central Americans of Europe. Oddly enough, there was a wall keeping them out - pun intended, lol. The wall was torn down!
  15. There are some people born with gender birth defects - but they are rare. There certainly is not a huge amount of genders as some extremists would say.
  16. Seriously, I don't see the big deal with Mario in a prison for an hour a day. Just make sure he doesn't provide plumbing tips to escape, LOL!

    Glasses

I don't. However, some computer screens have a dark mode. Who uses it? Is it just as effective?
  18. What might be some challenges? Well, it does seem like there is a market for it - unlike video rentals, which is a dead industry. Anyway, there are probably at least 5 in any medium sized city where I live (in Tennessee (state) USA).
  19. I might use one for a certain level I cannot beat at all. However, I would never use one for a whole game - cause that would destroy the fun, of course! Anyway, my nephew would use a whole walk-thru - because he cannot beat certain games (Batman, Indiana Jones etc.) due to his age (He was 7 years old.).
  20. Well, if the goal is to beat a game - and there's just no chance of getting past a level in a reasonable amount of time - then a cheat guide is often the best bet. Nonetheless, I want to smack myself after using one - cause I think, "Why didn't I see that?", lol. Anyone similar?
  21. No, because people have to be paid. I mean, we had the same situation with free music - but free music won, lol. In that case, sadly, the incentive to make music went down - and also the quality. I mean, I don't see any super groups on the radio no more. Why is that? I will backtrack. Free music didn't really win - but it just never went back to the days of albums.
  22. Prisons I think are moving away from where they (prisoners) are in a cell all the time. It's becoming more work oriented. However, there are ethical debates involved. Anyway, there's not much time for gaming!
  23. Fighting off the boredom is the admin's advantage. As long as they can control it, they can control the prisoners. However, then again, they (the prisoners) can ease boredom by fighting or worse.
  24. Of course, as people have probably noted on here, journalists could be induced to lie for money. Of course, someone somewhere wants a "fake endorsement" to increase sales - so how is gaming journalism trying to fight the situation? Any ideas? Well, accepting no commercials is one way (for the gaming blog/forum) - but those places might find it tough to get "paid viewers" (of the blog/forum).
  25. At the most, I might have spent 30 or 40 USD on Mario Kart. However, I feel it was worth it at the time - as I really love the game. Nonetheless, a used version would have worked just as well. I guess there's something about "getting something new", lol.
