I think escapism to a degree is healthy since it allows us to cope with stress much easier. It can get us through a lot in life.

Having grown up with games that ran at often less than 30 fps, it's not as important to me as a lot of newer gamers who I feel are honestly a bit spoiled in that regard.
However I do care about the framerate being consistent. I don't like sudden dips.

Yes I will always prefer the game to be in 60fps and a steady frame rate but normally the games I play are always on 30fps

Had a twitter conversation with Randy a while back. I asked him why he doesn’t mention Colonial Marines in his Twitter bio (he mentioned all the other games he’d worked on) and boy, he wasn’t happy, haha.

Extremely mediocre so far... In fact I would say it borders on being bad. Combat is fun at times but the enemy roster is extremely samey and not very interesting. Overall the game just lacks any of the charm and style of the first game and feels a lot more shallow and hollow. I would say in fact it ends up feeling like just another open world game with no originality at all.
I do have a lot more to get into so I'll let you know when I'm writing my full review of it.

He really is...as much as I played Borderlands 1 and 2, he really makes me not want to get Borderlands 3 because he makes money off of it. Wish there was a way for Gearbox to drop his ass, because he is not good for being the face of your company.

Yeah, much like Anthem it really is a game you need friends to explore with. I am lucky enough that I have friends who play games with me and we typically make private lobbies so that strangers won't disturb us.

In Skyrim, Expert (I think?) seems to be the sweet spot most of the time for me, but sometimes it is a bit too easy. But Master is quite a jump up from that.
The worst difficulty settings for me in any series are in Dragon Age. The difference between “Casual” and “Normal” is insane. I always think that the “true” settings are like … Casual, Hardcore, Nightmare, Rage-Quit.

That's true, it might be worth picking up for that reason but the same can be said for the NES and SNES Classic as well, At least in terms of how easy it is to add more games to it yourself.
