  1. Any that don't add extra stress, as that can actually make you sicker. Go with something that you have mastered, yet enjoy the hell out of. I would grab my Switch and start playing FF8. Portable system, that allows me to stay in bed so I can rest and get better? It's a win-win.
  2. I've used them for a long time for certain things. I don't think it cheapens anything. Quite the contrary. They can be an invaluable tool. There are so many games that get to a point and you have no clues what you're supposed to do to move forward. Caraways mansion, FF8 Disc 1, for example. Who would actually think to put a champagne glass in the statues hand? Who is going to look for things that aren't obvious things? Several of the GF's are in that category.
  3. I'm the opposite. I constantly forget to save for the most part. I've gotten better at saving after a plot point in a story, but if I'm not doing that and I'm exploring or something else then I'll forget all day to save. Then when the game glitches out, I lose everything I had spent the day doing, because I'm an idiot.
  4. I only gamble with my life, never my money.
  5. It would have had to have been one of the early Zelda games. I was never the best at SMB games, but I rocked Zelda. I still do. I can tell you anything about Link To The Past, down to which bee to catch and which one to not waste a bottle on.
  6. Minus the crying I've done the same to my own systems in a rage. But as for witnessing someone else doing something, I saw a neighbor kid break a desk when he didn't get the time he wanted on the time trials in Mario Kart (SNES) as he thought he was better. He got nuts there.
  7. All things considered, it wasn't very expensive either. The size of shirt doesn't affect the price, but for everything it was $166.72. I spent almost $200 a few months ago for a copy of the Ultimate Edition of the game with a valid DLC code alone on eBay. And it took over a month to arrive. This took about a week, is an unused game and code, lots of extra goodies, and cost less money. Had I known about this I would have given a hearty đź–• to eBay. So I now have 2 copies of the game for PS4 and one for Xbox One. I don't play it on Xbox because I don't like the controller setup. The game runs smoother and the controller configuration feels more natural on PS4 anyway. Not to mention that the PS4 controller is the most comfortable controller ever made.
  8. This war has been raging for decades between Israel and Palestine. Ever since I was a child. It shows no signs of slowing down or stopping from what I have seen. Personally, I think we should quit playing politics in the middle east and worry about our own lands. If one of them comes to us in true need of our help, then we can consider getting involved. Other than that, let the rest of the nations of the world govern their own damn selves. We have our own problems to worry about without having to fix everyone else's god damn issues. Give help when justifiably requested, otherwise, mind your own god damn business and worry about what you need to fix about yourself.
  9. When Adolf incited the terrorist attack on January 6th, Facebook suspended his account. Now they are considering a permanent ban. What is the fucking debate about? Would it have been up for consideration on whether or not to permanently ban Osama bin Laden on September 12th? Anyway, what are your thoughts?
  10. They featured them on an episode of Man vs Food. They were coated in sauce that was made with the hottest capsaicin from the hottest peppers available all the way up to the ghost pepper. Personally, something I like is Habanero chips with ghost pepper salsa. Or cut out the middle man and just give me a bunch if raw jalapeños and habaneros.
  11. There's a part in RDR2 where you're ambushed in a barn. And the guy gets you pinned down, and kills you. You can't get out of it, so if he takes you down right you have to wait to die and then retry it again in the hopes that you stay on your feet the next time. I fought this fucker for over an hour a few night ago because the god damn game wouldn't fucking let me get out of his bullshit. If you've ever wanted to see a psycho bitch looking at Chernobyl level nuclear in the rearview mirror, then you should have been here. But you would literally have been afraid for your safety. My girl was and she knows I would never lay a hand on her.
  12. The only game I play with voice acting is RDR2, and none of the actors in it have done any TV acting that I'm aware of. I've watched interviews with them on YouTube, and none of them have any TV/movie credits. Or so they said.
  13. Until I see it mentioned here, I always completely forget that eSports is even a thing.
  14. I used to be loyal Nintendo only. Now I play the big 3. I rarely touch my Xbox, as I still don't like Xbox, but I'm on my Nintendo's and Playstation's a lot. I've never been a big fan of PC gaming, and the only one I ever play on my PC is Hatred. Other than that, I don't play shit on it.
  15. Considering that I love FF8, I would say it's good in some games, and a blow to others. It all depends on the game itself.
  16. There are so many to name. But a few real quick were (as much as I love them) early Zelda games. They just kinda stopped after you fought Ganon. Or Shadow Link in Zelda II. Also Contra was a letdown the way it ended. But the worst of all was Goblin Sword. I have it on my Switch, and it has no ending. Literally. It has areas that you clear and that's it. No final boss. No major show. Just nothing. It has to be the biggest anti-ended game in history. There are games that aren't supposed to have an ending like Tetris. I get that. But you would think that this one would. Nope. It just stops.
  17. Wholly original, unexpected, way out of left field games. Look at the wide variety of styles, designs, and plots that were available on the NES. Some games were so insane a mentally challenged monkey couldn't have come up with it. But they were successful. Devs need to get out of the sequel mindset, and take a fucking chance once in a while.
  18. That's a difference between us. I've always seen things in black and white with no gray area. It's one extreme or the other. There is no middle ground with me. It doesn't matter the subject.
  19. As long as I was silent and unseen, they didn't care.
  20. I used to think that games that weren't purely medieval style games were pointless, as gaming was supposed to be a means of escape. Now, however, the majority of my games aren't medieval in any way. Granted a lot still are, but most are anything but. Even 10 years ago that was pretty much my thinking, with a rare exception.
  21. I would have to know what the average pay, and what they're making across the entire spectrum is before I could say. I mean if the average for a game actor is $100 per hour, and the actors at a particular studio are making $75 per hour, then they are getting underpaid. However if they're making $200 per hour, then I want their job, as they're making twice the going rate. At one point Kaley Cuoco was being paid one million per episode of The Big Bang Theory. That is a gross overpayment. But apparently she's cute(?!) so she was able to negotiate it. None of the other actors made even close to that.
  22. I go out of my way to not harm a rat in every game I play that has them in it. Even if it costs me health or a valuable item that I will never have the chance of getting again. I would rather not harm even a digital rat at my own expense than they take the harm to save me. For me causing a rat harm, in game or IRL, is unacceptable and inexcusable. It will never happen intentionally. And the punishment to myself if I do accidentally, is severe.
  23. Online only. That is the number one deal breaker for me. Strictly first person only would be in second place, depending on the game. For example I love Hexen, and it's a first person game. For those unfamiliar with it, make Doom a medieval game and you have Hexen. But for games like RDR2 and Skyrim, if they were first person only, I never would have gotten into RDR2, and would have never given Skyrim so many (failed) chances to draw me in. The biggest thing that turned me off from Skyrim is the controls. no matter how I change them they are just clunky and unusable for me.
  24. It all boils down to individual view. It's a political thing, but not government political. What is good to one person may be bad to the person standing beside them. I believe in vigilante justice. There are people here who will argue that that is absolutely wrong and not the way to go about things. There are people here who are Christian. I think that is wrong and absolutely not the way to live your life. We all have different views, and there is no absolute "good" or "evil". The only absolute rule in this subject, is that you can't have one without the other.
  25. Yeah but with games like Lion King, Aladdin, and Little Mermaid there is no real answer to "What the hell am I supposed to be doing?"
