I don't want to step in the shit, and I'm not taking either side, but I want to make one quick comment offering my opinion here. I think "political pandering" would most likely be something along the lines of a studio or dev giving in to pressure from one special interest group or another to follow their personal guidelines for what games can and can't have in them. I remember the explosion of religious groups when Mortal Kombat came out, and how hard they tried to get it banned. If Ed Boon and John Tobias had given in, then the genre of fighting games would have probably died with MK. Just one opinion. Like I said, I don't want to step in the shit.

All too often it seems like we're all lined up with a milking machine in our bank account, and a big fat dick up our ass. Make no mistake, gaming companies are both fucking us and robbing us far too often. As a side note, I am NOT into anal.

I've never really thought about it, but I probably do. I know I have thought "The game will always be there tomorrow" many times. It never occurs to me that something may happen to my system and the game isn't there tomorrow. So all that said, yes, now that I think about it, I do take gaming for granted.

Lucid dreaming can be a bitch from what I have heard. I wouldn't know, but it's my understanding that it also creates some of the most intense and worst nightmares imaginable.

Animals. I could live alone and know exactly how they are doing health wise, and make my pets all get along. I could also have some of our less friendly animals pay my enemies a visit or two. Think venomous snakes and worse.

My life is nothing but regret. So to die without any would be the most alien feeling to me that I would still die with one regret. That I couldn't figure out what it was that was so screwed up that I didn't regret it.

VR. I don't need all my wishes granted, unless it's the simplest ones (food, shelter, water, and solitude) but get me the fuck out of this world NOW.

I have rode donkeys, and they ride rough. I would like to try a giraffe though. The problem is finding a barn tall enough to hold one.

Food fight as long as I can catch it with a plate.

I have a dangerously high pain tolerance as it is, so this one is kinda moot for me. To give you an example, I broke my collar bone when I came off a bull (yes I was a bull rider) when I was 16 and didn't know it for over a week.

I was going to say money as well. My problem now is thinking up something else. I could agree with NPC's (which I already do) in RDR2 and say whiskey, but I want to pick something better. And I need my brain to realize that fruit already grows on trees and leave that one the hell out of the equation.

I already haunt people when I have a specific vendetta against them, so why should I stop at death? But ceasing to exist is a very attractive option.

Something just popped into my head. I've seen a lot of threads around here about whether anyone takes game reviews into account on their game purchases. Or what they think of reviews in general. But I'm curious about what everyone thinks when they see what we rate a movie in the Last Movie Watched thread. If you haven't seen it, and someone who has rates it really low, does that affect your decision whether or not to see it, and vice versa? It's basically a review that only has a ranking out of 10. I can't say it has mattered to me, because most of the movies that get posted are ones that I have already seen.

Is that the one people are going nuts with about the small Yoda-like alien?

If I'm the one that screwed up, I'll get mad at myself but keep going. If the game is the one that fucked up, that's usually when I rage quit.

My baby is too friendly and sweet to lash out at anyone. The only time she has ever even growled is at our bulldog puppy. The puppy is currently teething and chewing on everything she can find, which includes our other dogs. The only thing she is aggressive about is moving my arms and legs out of the way so she can climb up on me. She doesn't ask for attention, she demands and takes it. But I wouldn't have it any other way though.

I'm just numb. If I ever feel anything at all, it's always anger.

So many games it's just a 3 letter word about so many elements of the game. Why?

The Antagonist from Hatred. We have the same outlook and feeling towards the human race.

I just want something original and unique instead of another damn sequel.

It can get annoying, but I really don't have a big problem. It gives me a moment to grab a drink or a quick bite of whatever I have handy.

Sometimes it actually is the game. For example the other day I was ambushed in RDR2 and the game wouldn't let me dismount my horse or move. I ended up getting killed because I had no way of taking cover or moving out of the way from the bullets. That one was entirely the game. I was more than pissed from that bullshit. If I had had the option of taking cover or riding anywhere to make them have a harder time hitting me, then it would have been different.

I'll most likely be dead in 20 years. But in the slim chance that I'm still alive, I would like to see a return to the old days in terms of games. Some wild ideas that have never been thought up before. Like they did during the NES era.
