  1. I've wondered just about every time I've played Castlevania SOTN, exactly whose job it is to go around the castle and light all those damn candles and lamps.
  2. Riding out with Lenny in RDR2 when we were going to clear out Shady Belle. During the conversation on the ride, Lenny mentions that people might call Arthur a "nigger lover". Initially it didn't really bother me. But when I thought about it, this was just 30 years after the Civil War ended. While he may not have been a slave, he still wasn't free. He had to watch his back at all times and sleep with both eyes open. Him being black, in that time period, was more dangerous than it is now. And it's not a safe time for blacks. Just look at what happened to George Floyd. But back then, Lenny couldn't have gone to town without a white person with him. He most likely would have gotten lynched. The sins of my race seem to stretch further than any other.
  3. They haven't helped me from the trauma I went through in the Marines. They haven't made a damn bit of difference. So I'll tell you right now that that study is severely flawed, or purely bullshit. Besides, they only publish the results they want from studies like that anyway. They don't publish the numbers of soldiers that violent games either didn't help or made their PTSD worse. Those are the numbers you're looking for.
  4. You can be killed for wearing the wrong color in the wrong part of town, or being the wrong color in the wrong part of town. I've experienced them. It's why there's a bullet scar in my leg. Every race/color/ethnicity has to watch their backs carefully due to racism. Here in the states, it's mostly blacks followed by Hispanics that have to watch their backs the closest. Those of us that are white, but bottom class don't have it any better with the exception of being white. I could rob a convenience store, but if there was a black guy seen nearby, he would be picked up before I would be looked at. Racism is bullshit if there's nothing to back it up. To give an example of what I mean by that, let me give one of my own. I hate xtians. I absolutely hate them. My entire life no xtian has given me the tiniest shred of civility. They have condemned me, forced the bible down my throat, and harassed me nonstop. For 39 years. I was excommunicated when I was 3 from the Roman Catholic church for asking a question in Sunday school. This shit has come from my own family as well. Because of the nonstop, relentless bigoted intolerance towards me for NOT being xtian, I now hate every last shred of anything related to it. People, objects, locations, all of it. "Civilization will not attain to its own perfection until the last stone, from the last church, falls on the last priest." --Emile Zola
  5. If you don't harm the rats at any point I'm interested. If you're forced to harm them, then I want nothing to do with the game.
  6. I'm a glutton for punishment. And a masochist.
  7. I definitely was unaware of the game. If I got into playing it, I would probably be found unconscious several times slumped over my keyboard because I forgot to breathe. Either way it's going into my wishlist.
  8. It's in the eShop retailing for $29.99 USD. €24.65 £21.20
  9. It seems we're giving either our self respect or integrity as collateral for the loans we keep taking out. they loan us fucked up games, if they even can be called that, and we lower our self respect and integrity just a little bit more by buying them. Pretty soon they will have all of it, and more people will be like me.
  10. Just watching the trailer, my heart was pounding, and I had to remind myself several times to FUCKING BREATHE. Unholy shit!
  11. Uhh..... how many people ordered a bread sandwich? Did the sign say "20 served" instead of "billions served"? 😐😑😐
  12. The eShop has a section for upcoming titles. That's what I'm referring to.
  13. Literally. Hitler's Gestapo literally went door to door, forced themselves into homes, and looked for Jews. The public didn't have the option of telling them to fuck off. We're descending into Nazi era Germany, and it's all the fault of the republiKKKlan's. They want authoritarian rule that bows to their whim. Or maybe it should be authoritARYAN rule. If they somehow get any form of power, we're fucked.
  14. I must just not understand business then. In my mind, if you're not making money from a product, then you're doing something wrong, unless you're a non-profit.
  15. The more violent the game, the more relaxing it is for me. Hatred is a great game for relaxation for me. It's just a mass killing spree. I get to let my frustrations out on innocent people, and my anxiety goes down. Sure, you kill things in other games, but not like this.
  16. It can be fun. Typically though, I like stealth to come up behind someone and using a silent kill on them. That's more fun.
  17. I actually do approach life somewhat similar to video games. I don't get involved with people when I'm out, but I get extremely hostile if they decide to get involved with me. I've been known to pull my .357 Mag on people. I've tazed several people. I've beaten the shit out of more people than I could count. I'm by nature extremely hostile, violent, disrespectful, and just flat out mean. They're all traits of misanthropy. And I can guarantee that none of you will ever meet anyone as misanthropic as me. It's why I keep all relationships and interactions online. Because I don't have to waste my time actually being around anyone. I'm not an easy person to get along with, and I'm even harder to live with.
  18. Actually, I am very surprised by this. If she was honest, and they are selling them at a loss, then why are they still making them? That just doesn't make sense in a business sense. If the cost to a manufacturer to make something is $500, and they sell it for $300, then they're idiots. It just doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. If that's the case, they should have quit at the 360. Atari knew when to bow out. Sega knew when to bow out. Xbox should have learned from them. Maybe the Series X/S is their version of the Dreamcast. A last ditch effort to remain in the console market. But either way, they're fucking morons. 2+2 does not equal 5.
  19. Very cool. I'm going for it. If it's in the upcoming section on my Switch, then I'm adding it to my wishlist.
  20. Ave
  21. I'll answer the door with my AR-15 if they try to interrogate me. I'm not going to tolerate this kind of bullshit. If they want to know how many Democrat voters there are, they can look at state/county/city statistics. They can't go door to door with a hostile interrogation and intimidation tactics and not expect to not get anything back. I'm just hoping they force their way inside my house so I can legally kill them.
  22. Layers Of Fear is IMO the best horror game franchise. It just can't be beat.
  23. I played Contra almost every single day when I was a kid. I beat it almost every time. I don't get where people get the idea that it is so hard. I found the game rather easy. But then again, I also found Zelda II easy as well, so maybe it's just me.
