This is a pretty cool one. You're looking at this from the wrong angle - It's helping you to confront traumatic events in your life and learning to deal with what happened. In other words, it's a required step to move past the pain ad trauma - to accept what happened and learn from it. It's not something widely practiced in the western world, instead doctors prescribe drugs and other things to keep you in denial which only keeps you from progressing as a person. In life everyone has to go through trials and tribulations and it's how you deal with it will ultimately develop into the person you want to be.

They already confirmed it - no more delays! I'm also excited but I just hope my gaming laptop can manage it.

AMD has had AMD Radeon for years now and they recently released a new version called Adrenalin which is getting rave reviews from tech Youtubers and regular consumers alike.

Recommendations For Survival Horror/Thriller Games
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Video Games
Nope but from what I've read, it's an awesome 2-D horror game and both this and the sequel has some good reviews. I should check it out but my "to try" list is pretty stacked at the moment. Plus, I'd much rather a 3-D game on PC. For some reason, I hate playing most 2-D games on my laptop...Give me a switch or any other console and I wouldn't have any issues at all. -
Recommendations For Survival Horror/Thriller Games

I would play it as well but I have so many games on my " to try" list that I don't know where to start... -
Actually, most modern video editing/animation software are more dependent on GPU performance than up to a few years ago where they were almost exclusively dependent on CPU performance. There's the RP-15 from Eluekatronics that's a really good offering but it's over 1000 USD. There's also the Legion 5 and a couple of others. I do agree that AMD is the king of productivity when it comes to CPUs.

I was having a discussion with @StaceyPowers and @skyfire in another thread where Skyfire said that VR could be used to re-live past trauma but redo the outcome as a form of therapy and we thought it was a very interesting idea. I also remembered one of my friends talking about watching porn using VR a few years back. What other ways could VR be used?

That's the word I'm looking for! A very interesting concept indeed - basically a reset on past circumstances. That's what I was thinking. Then again, I also remembered my friend saying I should try watching porn using VR...It's just odd how that came back to me when I saw his idea.

I just commented on another thread that it's pretty ironic that Alduin, the main antagonist of Skyrim saves the only person who could stop him. Without Alduin's interference, your character would've been executed. What are some ironic situations you've seen in a video game?
-
The best opening to a video game I've ever seen is Skyrim...(I'm totally being sarcastic. It's just that I've seen this opening so many times, I can actually repeat it line for line). It's hilarious how Alduin saved the person that'd end up defeating him - talk about the irony.

What other 3rd party games would you like to see the Switch get?

I wouldn't mind if they did a remastered version of Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow... -
What ever happened to the Nintendo mobile games for smart devices?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Nintendo
Outside of a few titles, most will only be available for Nintendo devices and they have the right to do so. Why they feel like introducing more games to other platforms, I'll be gladly waiting... -
I'm kind of different because I do video editing and animation videos with my laptop so the laptop in question has to be very powerful. Those applications tend to use up a lot of resources and most ordinary laptops would throttle even with a laptop cooling pad so that's why I mention laptops like these.

I have to disagree there. AMD's drivers are pretty good and over the lifespan of a graphic card bumps up its performance significantly. I do agree the Nvidia has the better software but Ray tracing and DLSS still isn't widely adopted in games or software so it's pretty much useless.

Outside of Discord, telegram, and Whatsapp, I don't spend that much time on social media anymore because it has become really toxic especially on platforms like Twitter.

I do vaguely remember IGI and it was a half decent game. Too bad it came out around the time of games like Black Hawk among other titles which completely overshadowed it...

Right now, I'm looking forward to the next Animal Crossing that they keep teasing us with...

Football manager is just managing the team and not actually controlling the individuals. I agree that Sports games aren't that relaxing and they put you in that competitive mode.

Basically a Terminator knockoff although the gameplay kind of looks decent. It's still in beta if I remember correctly so some of the issue can be corrected before the official release. -
Wreckfest is a somewhat simple game but still fun six years later. I can't believe I had it in my Steam Library the entire time and didn't play it...Actually I can because I have a good amount of games that I've yet to play...

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Why not try for the Xbox series instead? PC is the way to go by the way...

All I can say is that I can't wait until December 10.
