I'm not sure why influential figures are always trying to scapegoat video games and media in general for some of the atrocities in society when these things have been happening long before these forms of entertainment existed.

Skyrim and Fallout came to mind as well unless you mod the games to make the enemies far more intelligent. I was alluding to this same thing in my earlier comment where games nowadays are so dumbed-down that they become very boring within 2 weeks.

That is a valid point but why would anyone want a non-functioning tank gun though? 🤣

I'm still trying to figure out what that game was about because I remember playing it but it wasn't anything outstanding at all.

While we're on the topic of GTA, we can also steal military vehicles from the military and actually survive - I'd like to see some random unprepared idiot try that in real life XD

It's almost like a what-if scenario where law and order were mainly decided by the citizens instead of the government.

Let's take the more recent Hitman games for example, The enemies are as dumb as rocks - they are warned to look out for you yet when you throw a knife in to the head pf an NPC they may or may not see it even when it's in broad daylight. In the older Hitman games, the enemies were far more strategic in terms of actually amping up security in addition to searching in pairs so no 2 npcs were facing the exact direction.

I'm pointing out that you can in fact do that in GTA...that's all

I miss Trevor from GTA V as well - He'd be like that crazy Uncle whose always on drugs and just does wtf he wants when he wants and you just know you're guaranteed a a good time with him around.

Nowadays, I'd lean towards more content in the video games so we can enjoy more of a particular game world. I feel like a good majority of games nowadays lack any meaningful or enjoyable content and a bit of challenge as well. The games are so dumbed-down nowadays that you quickly lose interest in most of these games.

I'd never play it though...It is boring with just exploring planets and it's not like it has any interesting combat mechanics at all.

Every gamer has their preferences - I mean being able to beat up a hooker and get back your money after sex sounds entertaining!...and disturbing simultaneously...🤣

I'm still at a loss for words when I saw this yesterday - i mean we knew about that one guy from Runescape that spent $62,000 but this is on a whole different level. I doubt I've ever made a $150,000 in my lifetime so far - this is crazy and the mobile company is celebrating it as some kind of success...

I've hated it since 2010 onwards because it has gone down the road of promoting excessive drug usage and not learning to deal with your issues responsibly. Furthermore, 99.9% of mainstream rappers can't even rap and they just repeat the same couple of lines throughout a song. Because I grew up listening to lyrical geniuses like Tupac, Biggie, Nas among many others, I absolutely cannot listen to this crappy new era rap. Or older songs. I don't even know what is the most popular song out right now because I have almost entirely stopped paying attention to mainstream music.
