The developers did give an explanation to the story although most of us missed it. It has something to do with the gate of hades and stopping the villains from opening it - I'm a bit lazy to go search youtube for the video atm...
Honestly, I'm not sure you ever get over the learning curve entirely but you kind of know what to expect so even though you're left frustrated by what has happened, you won't feel like punching a wall.🤣
Growing up, I remember most parents being more responsible and other parents stepping in to deal with misbehaving children when their parents weren't around. Nowadays, kids are left to their own devices without anybody correcting them.
I don't really mind cutscenes as long as I'm not encountering one every 5 seconds and it is unskippable. I also hate excessive loading times especially when it is an open-world game and you are constantly running into loading areas traversing from one area to another really annoys me.
I also like things like the subtle camera shakes when walking or doing any activity in first person as well in certain games but it depends on the degree to which it is done. There are some games that absolutely overdo it in that department to the point it becomes distracting. For example, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (horrid game all-round).
