  1. Not really, I like to beat my games fair and square. If that is what somebody else wants to do, they are well within their right and I won't judge you but I like overcoming my challenges the hard way. It feels like an accomplishment to beat a difficult stage/level.
  2. When I was younger and didn't really know any better, I only do it for emulator games nowadays - otherwise, I buy my games.
  3. I'm 50/50 when it comes to this topic because I love Skyrim and DMC 5 among others for their gripping single-player experiences but you have games like GTA online that I loved to play(said it in the past tense because I used to spend hours playing it until they started adding all these BS DLC vehicles). I do like MMOs in terms of building a guild and causing mischief in-game and also getting a good laugh with strangers.
  4. I once grabbed a kid who I saw running out into oncoming traffic to catch a Gyarados across the road. The kid actually had the nerve to be arguing when I just saved his life but being that I am not one for petty arguments I simply walked off.
  5. The only one I even got on launch was the PS3 and I didn't regret that decision because I had bragging rights among my friends back then being that we were all Sony fanboys. It served me a good 5 years before I seriously got into PC gaming and I've never really looked back.
  6. There is nothing wrong with doing sponsored game reviews but those reviews need to be genuine and have a minimal amount of bias. You do not want to lead your audience astray as this can ruin your reputation and lead to a bigger loss of revenue in the long run.
  7. Monitor because of the fast refresh rate and response time which is essential in games like CS:GO and Fortnite (when I used to play it.)
  8. I wait until the game is out and I know the pros and cons before I make a decision on purchasing it.
  9. Easy games are boring as hell - being rewarded for honing your skills in a game makes the experience feel like an accomplishment.
  10. Mortal Kombat
  11. I was pretty mad for a couple weeks but I did several marathons to get myself back to where I was a couple of weeks prior and started whooping them again. 😂
  12. I've mainly gone the digital route in recent years because I don't have enough space to be store bucket loads of physical games so I do rather digital copies nowadays.
  13. Majority of them are also lacking in the immersive story/background department and tend to lack imagination and creativity in gameplay mechanics.
  14. I agree with both of you - I am not into streaming games at all.
  15. Toxic gamers are an issue I agree but it is mainly casual uninformed gamers that are the issue - I agree that the quality of writing in games has significantly dropped to the point I cannot play most games continuously and enjoy them because they lack a proper story. The greedy devs/publishers are the biggest issue at the moment - they believe they should be paid top dollar for some sub-standard crap they throw together and call it a video game. It's all about money to them and they don't really care about gamer satisfaction nowadays.
  16. You assume it is going to save us money but we haven't even gotten a pricing scheme for the Stadia. It's just like Apple last month listing all these services but no pricing - it means they haven't or are nowhere near ready to be used by consumers and are in the initial to medium stages of development.
  17. Sounds like a fair deal - just remember the dreaded CD scratch! *people shriek in terror* Seriously, that is the only issue I ever had with physical games.
  18. That's quite easy - the DLC vehicles like MKII Oppressor and the Deluxo, why include them in GTA online and guns like the atomizer. It completely ruined GTA online. Other than that, I despise the overtly aggressive NPCs as well.
  19. Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
  20. I can name one. In Skyrim, you can't jump and attack...I can't even imagine how they could overlook something so simple and the next one is using magic while riding a horse.
  21. Fewer DLCs with sci-fi vehicles such as Oppressors and Deluxos among other vehicles because this is GTA, not Saints Row the GTA edition.
  22. Nice One! But Serana is the most powerful follower in vanilla Skyrim. Her destruction magic is overpowered as hell and she can take on an army without breaking a sweat really.
  23. Tell him he can off the hookers and take back his money unlike in real life if you aren't satisfied...Hey don't look at me funny - it's in the game.😂 In all seriousness, GTA always has very interesting characters, the storytelling is amazing and the practically limitless amounts of things you can do in-game is ridiculous. Did I mention it has real-life elements like bribing the authorities?
  24. I haven't played it in years but when I used to play it, the devs (not Bethesda) loaded the game with microtransactions for essential things such as the crafting tools. It has rubbed me the wrong way ever since.
