It depends on your priorities. If you're mostly gaming at 1080p, the PS4 Slim should be more than enough. The Pro's 4K support shines if you have a 4K TV, but it doesn't offer a huge performance boost at 1080p. If you're trying to save some money, the Slim is a solid option.

I never used it myself, but I read a lot about people running full Linux distros and even using the PS3 for emulation or software development. It’s a shame Sony removed it - it would’ve been cool to see a more open ecosystem for the PS3.

The ability to play PS1 games was a huge draw. It would be amazing if future handhelds could emulate even more classic consoles or have access to a wide library of retro games.

Personally, I’m most hyped for Wolverine. Insomniac did such a great job with Spider-Man, so I’m excited to see how they handle Logan’s darker, grittier world. Final Fantasy XVI has been out for a couple of years now. Maybe you mean a new DLC?

Couldn't have said it any better. Realism has its place, but I hope PlayStation doesn't lose sight of its more experimental and artistic exclusives. A mix of Gran Turismo and titles like Horizon Zero Dawn or Journey keeps the library diverse and appealing to a wide range of players.

Same here. I appreciate the effort to create an all-encompassing entertainment hub, but I think PlayStation should focus primarily on enhancing the gaming experience. Features like faster load times, better graphics, and innovative gameplay would resonate more with core gamers than additional streaming services.

Was enjoying some Pokemon Shield today and despite its issues, I do like it. However, Nintendo needs to do a better job at optimizing these games.

think there needs to be a distinction between freedom of speech and toxic behavior. A gaming community is supposed to be a fun and safe space, so if someone is consistently causing harm or disruption, they should face consequences. However, I also think there should be room for debate and differing opinions, as long as it's done respectfully.

This game reminds me of the Wii sports games. I like this - looks like a lot of fun to play with friends.

I'm going to be honest, this game looks pretty poor graphically and it looks so clunky gameplay wise.

Let's see what they have in store for us when the alpha launches. I'll definitely make sure to check this out.
