If on PC, do you prefer your video games online or you buy the cases?
skyfire replied to The Overseer's topic in Gaming Forum
These days I prefer the downloadable games. I don't want to waste my apartment space with all those game collections. I think steam and epic store can be really helpful on that count. And even better option is that there are some really good free game stores out there. So we have plenty of choices to choose from and make use of when we are buying the games. -
For me it has to be GTA and NFS series. I don't know why they tend to get a lot of demand and the hype. I found PUBG and Fortnite not much worth it either. It can be pretty bad on many points. But then again I think some games take like lot of time to get some decent users. So for each user it can be different.

I think the best way to beat the anxiety is be friendly. And never compete. That is one way to beat anxiety. And having support group and friends who are super supportive. That also helps out. The reason being good people cheer each other up. And if you are always in competitive mode, then it can give you pretty much worst anxiety possible.

I think for me 2 hours is max for the day if things are good. I think I should be reducing this to 30 minutes a day. I don't think I should be playing too much video games. As that tend to affect my health. And long term it is not going to be of any use. So in such case it can be favorable to say that some gaming sessions are better to stay low.

I think Mini clip and newsgrounds. Both the site had some really good games. I think miniclip has vast collection. Such that they don't know how much to consider for the keeping up with the updates. I hope they continue to make desktop type of games. As they used to do that in past. Having browser only games are good for some games but more harder games need to be for the desktop.

I like old games being ported and emulated. I think it's good to have those games around. I know that we are in generation where we have much effective graphics now. But I think it's not bad to have those new game ROMs with emulation. Considering Windows and Linux both have support for the emulators. I think it's good to have emulators like that.

Yes Hasbro were the origianl developer of the board game. I think there must be app version of the game too. But I played the game from another developer where he had many layouts and the space and ships option. And I think many other developers are making much better version of this game. So it can be pretty effective on that note.

For me I have to take a look at the walkthroughs to find my way around. That's one reason these days I check with the YouTube first before getting into any game. It feels like a good option that way. I don't have to struggle and work around every game that is going out there.

You have plenty of options depending on the programming language you choose. For example Javascript developers can make use of the React Native. Dart language users can use Flutter. Java developers and .Net develoeprs can use android studio. So it all depends on what you want and what type of the app and or game you want to create with the same.

I don't mind ads to be honest. Few ads here and there are not an issue. As long as the app is bombarded with the ads. And it can be pretty difficult to get things out of it. I know for sure that premium option is always better than ads. But not all of us can afford everything that is walking out there in the play store. I prefer to watch ads to save some amount of money.

I'd say chicken. Why? because you can do a lot of things with it. Like say use it in soup. You can cook it in barbeque, you can do fried chicken with it. You can do endless things with chicken and mix it with many things. If you say lifetime supply of anything other than chicken then some noodles or the pasta is what I often prefer on that note. It can be pretty good enough for stomach.

I walk like 20 minutes a day. And it does help out on my health side. You know it can get pretty troublesome on that note. Like not having gym makes you go tired on many times. So I try to make sure that I have gym routine and spend some time on exercising with cycle if possible.I am planning to get cycle real soon and hoping to resume some outdoor times in the woods.

I am not good at cooking. But learning how to make breakfast and dinner. so far few items I can do easily. But hoping that in near future I can add more things in my cooking skills. That's something I want to manage as well. I think many people don't think cooking requires skill but it is one of the tough skill to have and everyone should attempt to learn it as much as possible.

I do spend time on social media every now and then. And to be honest it can be fun but often things which are done the wrong way end up creating more chaos in mind. like comparison and feeling sad after seeing other people succeed. it can make many among us unhappy. So I try to keep cap on how much time I spend on the social media. It takes time for those things to work out though.

Mine is usually weekly basis. My parents used to pay few guys to do that. But I can't afford that in this city. So it kind of gets harder for me to do it on my own. I do try make sure to clean things up whenever possible. I carry water bottle and I wash the bike and car when I park it at home. So that is one way of cleaning it.

Have you ever played the game of homesteading lifestyle? If not, then maybe you can find out a lot about homsteading than anything out there. The Stillness of the Wind is expected to be released on 7th Feb. And based on the game premise that is going to attract few relaxed gamers who are planning on playing something that does not require them to think much. It falls into adventure category. I am not sure what type of challenges are going to be in it. So waiting for some walkthrough videos for this game. What do you think about The Stillness of the Wind?

What if you reincarnate as Wolf and find out about your human life as you explore? That is the premise of the game. And it looks like the graphics and the fantasy tone of the game is pretty well maintained. It is yet to release on the steam. But it seems like the game is going to be released March 2019 from the rumors on some forums. As of now there are not many early access previews or news released on this. So it'd be interesting to see this game in next weeks. What do you think?

Steam has this new upcoming featured game called Eagle Island. The game seems to be good option for anyone who is into the 2D platformer adventure game. It has multiple game modes that you can check out. It is supposed to release at the end of Feb 2019. But so far there are no announcement for the same on their page. So you may have to wait it out. There are chances that some influencers on youtube have got the early access. Have you checked the Eagle Island on youtube?

If you are on steam right now, you can see the free deal for the World of Warships. The game seems to be good enough on the playing side, it has some really good features with strategy and combat options. It was released in 2017 so it's kind of obvious that they are free right now on the steam. From the reviews on youtube it seems like the game is definitely worth checking out. And it can keep you busy for some time. Have you played World of Warships?

If you like those explorer type adventure FPS then this is one game to watch out for. It's one of those old games that come into my feed of recommendations recently it's been 4 years since the game is released. And it seems like the game has some really good exploring capacity, which I am guessing ignored for years. I kind of fallen in love with that sort of exploring scenario of the game. I may give this one a try next weekend. Have you played Kholat in past?

If you like FPS adventure game, then you will enjoy playing A Story About My Uncle. The game is pretty relax yet a bit thrilling as you move from one rock to another solving puzzles and clearing few goals. I find the tone towards the game pretty much positive in most reviews. Also some of the gamers who are into reviews also tend to praise the graphics. So I find those games really good enough on that count. Have you played A Story About My Uncle?

Yes the free price is the one reason I'd choose it. Also I often stream online. So that's one more reason I may consider downloading and play the game to test out if other people like it. So far I heard few good reviews. So I guess it is pretty much the time to test it out.

There is also anthem deal which costs 15$. I don't know how many hours that deal will remain. So maybe they may close it or may move to another store online. So far I think anthem deals running all over the web. It seems like a good game so kind of obvious there are going to be discount for the same.

Me too. I have no idea on how that connection appears. But based on last game. it seems like they are creating the good boy version of dante. And it is possible that virgil may never appear in the game. Some wikia topics say that he is son of the virgil. I am not sure on that point, maybe there is a game which I missed that showed the connection.

Indeed it can be pretty devastating on many times. Some games are part of our life. And considering the new gaming trends are coming. I don't expect much that may happen with the half life 3. In near future I hope that there are some other developers who may make fan made version of it.
