  1. This new Adams Family spin off/remake launched on Netflix on November 23rd (yeah, it was Wednesday HAHA!) and in my opinion, it's damn near faultless. Netflix have admittedly been on a bit of a slide lately with the only a few recent hits like Stranger Things Season 4 and Squid Game. So they needed something on the platform to get people talking and I think this definitely will.... a good thing considering the amount they must have invested in it! As a kid I loved The Adams Family and The Adams Family Values movies. I'm sure I remember catching one or two episodes of the show as well I would say that Wednesday Addams was probably my favourite character (certainly in the movies). I hadn't really been following anything about it, in fact I don't I was aware of this maybe a couple of weeks ago but I got pretty exited. The premise is that Wednesday Addams (played brilliantly by Jenna Ortega) after getting kicked out of school and sent to Nevermore Academy, a special boarding school for "outcasts". In this world an outcast is anyone who isn't a normal human, or "normie". This includes Werewolfs, Vampires, Sirens, psychics and so on. Upon arrival she soon discovers a conspiracy that could bring tragedy to the school and everyone in it and she may be the only one that can stop it. It's also entirely possible that she is the direct cause of all the suffering, pain, and death but, she's Wednesday Fucking Addams, so nothing is going to stop her getting to the truth either way! She is joined in new quest for the truth by a number of her fellow students. Most notably Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), a Werewolf who is was sent to Nevermore by her family because she is struggling to find her bite, so to speak. She's bubbly, sociable and bursting with colourful positivity... everything Wednesday of course is not. The dynamic of these polar opposites playing off each other is incredibly entertaining throughout. I'm not going to go into any detail about the story here, your obviously better of discovering that yourselves. I just wanted to gush about how good this and why I feel it's worth your time. We see a lot of "modern twists" of classic material these days and very often if falls flat and pales in comparison to their original's. Wednesday is very much a modern twist on of the Addams Family and for that reason alone I could see why some people would be put off. However, it's clear that Tim Burton knew what he was doing and had a clear idea of what to keep authentic and what to take in a different direction and in my opinion he made the right choice almost every time. He took the classic character of Wednesday, put her in a modern setting while retaining the same morbid charm and wit that made her such an iconic character. Not that I'm giving Mr Burton all the credit. After watching this performance I now have mad respect for Jenna Ortega: After watching Christina Ricci's (who is in this show as well) flawless portrayal of Wednesday back in the 90's I honestly thought there is no way anyone could do it better without basically playing copy cat... Yeah, I've been waiting years for an excuse to use this clip, bite me! ...but Ortega's dedication to the part is phenomenal she has made it her own. Of course this is the first time we see Wednesday as a teenager and as the focal point so we get to explore aspects of her personality that we haven't go the see before. Her performance feels totally authentic to the character but still feels fresh and new. Not to mention she had to acquire a skill set that give Leonardo da Vinci a run for his Mona Lisa! I mean she had to learn Archery, Fencing, Martial Arts, The Cello, Fast Typewriting and more! I would rip off my underwear and wave it in surrender just listing these! Ethen Hunt would tell these producers to fuck off! So what are your thoughts on Wednesday? Post down below and thanks for reading.
  2. Unfortunately there's no way round it. Microsoft have a contract with Seagate to produce the SSD cards bet even if they didn't and other third parties could jump into the market, the prices wouldn't come down very much if at all. The SSD's on the next gen consoles high speed NVMe SSD's and they cost a lot of money. The consoles and even some of the games have be optimised specifically for them. So if a cheaper (and by that I really mean slower) version of cards came out some titles and other features legitimacy might not work properly. This is one the reasons I never really thought the XBox Series S was not really worth it. The expandable storage cost almost as much, perhaps even more than the console itself. Not exactly. Obviously larger capacity SSD's cost more because there's more storage, you just get what you pay for. I've been looking at PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD's on places like Amazon (UK) lately and they all tend to be around £100 per TB, regardless of size.
  3. I'd have to disagree, I thought MGS2 was a very poor execution of this type of diversion storytelling. Good examples of story's with lots of twists and turns still feel like a one consistent story arc, but MGS2 doesn't. It stars one arc, tells you that it wall all bullshit, starts another, tells you that one was a load of crap too, rise and repeat. I like the gameplay, don't get me wrong but terms of story I just felt like the game was wasting my time. By the end (which is rushed, confusing and non-sensical) you feel like everything you've done was pointless, all for nothing. The fact that it's a game if anything making it even worse, you spend 4 hours running around the Big Shell diffusing bombs and then you told "sorry, you wasted your time" Oh thank you, I really appreciate that! ₛₐᵣ꜀ₐₛₘ You know what... the truth is it was pointless. MGS2 is full of so much shit you can jump from MGS1 to MGS4 (maybe only play the Tanker section in MGS2) and not miss anything that really matters. In MGS4 Shake even verbally states the information they learned at the end of MGS2 was a "load of crap". They introduced some new characters but other than that it didn't advance the story so as a sequel that's a huge fail right there.
  4. I hated this game. The stealth detection is a total joke, your way to overpowered, the main character has about as much personality as a block of cheese, the story is instantly forgettable and almost none of the iconic locations from the books or movies are included.
  5. Does this mean we won't get to see another masterpiece from Gilson B. Pontis in 2023?
  6. Well yes, that was on purpose.
  7. Why has YouTube on the Opera GX Browser gone all italic all of a sudden? By the way, this goes for comments, titles, video descriptions, the lot. What are they thinking? It looks like the entire website is a quotation, what's the fucking point!
  8. PS:. Let's also re-state for record that the president of FIFA is actively defending them for this! Think about that next time you purchase a FIFA game, MUT pack, T-shirt or some other merchandise.
  9. Are you fucking kidding me! Their "culture" can suck my dick, it's disgusting! If a woman is raped, SHE can be charged with the crime of extramarital sex. FOR BEING THE VICTIM! I'd agree that we should respect the culture... WHEN IT ISN'T HARMING ANYONE!!!!! But these are imprisoning and in some cases publicly executing people, just for being gay. They issue public lashings to rape victims. So called father's willingly behead thier own daughter's for losing their virginity outside of wedlock in what they call, and I'm not kidding, "honer killings". Fuck this "culture". So If you want say "Fuck Crazycrab" for having no respect for their Islamic extremist "culture", good. Please do. Make multiple posts stating that. Spam the shit out of this forum telling everyone I'm an intolerant asshole. Make a public spectacle of me for stating that LGBTQ+ people don't deserve to die. That rape victims are the one's that should be protected rather than punished. That a woman's virginity isn't so precious that she should be beheaded for losing it. But before you do, just allow me to re-state: Fuck FIFA Fuck Qatar Fuck the World Cup If you endorse any of these... Fuck you!

    Miracles

That would constitute a miracle, but that has never actually happened. The "miracles" that we have been able observe are event's that have occurred despite overwhelming odds but we're never statistically impossible. Even if there was a situation that cannot be explained by conventional science it's far more likely that there wasn't enough data or understanding to explain it. In short, just because we can't explain it doesn't mean there's no explanation. So no, I don't believe believe in miracles. Like the existence of God, It's one of those hypothesis that can never be proven or disproven. The one presenting the idea is the one with the burden of proof. In this case, again like God, it simply can't be done.
  11. The host nation of this year's FIFA World Cup is Qatar. Qatar sentence homosexualities to death by public stoning. The president of FIFA has publicly stated that he is perfectly fine with this with the excuse being "Europe has to apologize for the next 3000 years" https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/fifa-chief-gianni-infantino-hits-out-at-qatar-criticism-saying-european-countries-should-instead-be-apologising-for-the-next-3-000-years-12750765 Fuck FIFA Fuck Qatar Fuck the World Cup If you endorse any of these... Fuck you!
  12. No apologies necessary, I just thought the way you worded it was a little contradictory. I agree that streaming is the future despite Stadia's failure. The concept of being able to play AAA games via streaming without expensive PC's and console's is a win for me. I think the issue with Stadia was it's business model, expecting people to pay the same full price as console's and PC for each game was bloody insane. They should have gone the route of XBox Game Pass and made it a pay monthly service.
  13. I don't quite get what your saying, Stadia was a streaming service. By your own point the complete opposite is true.
  14. Babylon's Fall was published by Square Enix. I don't think I heard of a live service game from Ubisoft that released this year and collapsed this quickly but I could be wrong.
  15. Babylon's Fall has to be up there. A critical and commercial failure so massive it didn't even survive a year.
  16. I'm afraid EA and Bioware confirmed that Anthem would not get any more post-launch content quite a while ago. https://www.theverge.com/2021/2/24/22274771/ea-wont-continue-anthems-post-launch-development
  17. I'm sorry but that's nonsense. EPIC are obviously compensating the developers/publishers for their products. Whether that's through directly through monetary reimbursement, promotion on the Epic Games platform for another game or some other business arrangement these devs/publishers are NOT giving away their games for nothing. Your right that Epic are make a truck load of money with Fortnite but the free games are merely part of their re-investment into their brand, along with their EGS exclusives.
  18. 3/10 Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. It's got the same problem a lot of this type of Club House music has, to many repeating bars. In most genre's a composer will repeat for perhaps 4 -8 bars then change it up. This type of thing will go to 12 - 16 bars, sometimes more and for whatever reason that just has always gated my teeth. Even if I like the melody hearing the same thing repeat that much drives me nuts. I can tolerate more during gameplay but the gameplay serves as a distraction and this is far from the worst example, but I generally just find it lazy and annoying. it's not for me. I will state for the record that this game was a massive disappointment for me, but one the the few rings I thought was cool was the main menu theme "The Gravewalker". I especially the inclusion of the "One Ring" phrase towards the end:
  19. Trick or Treat.... Sniff my feet.... Does Elon Musk Agree... That this Ibanez, of Steve Via's mind is, a mother-fucking treat!
  20. 8/10..... Although I personally don't exactly clarify this as a "Video Game" song as such, It's one of the best renditions of the bond theme in my opinion. Well I really have no idea how the next person is going to feel about this one but, that's kind of the adventure of a thread like this right?
  21. I haven't bought a COD game in years and this is part of the reason why. I don't have good internet and I can't be bothered dealing with having to delete a bunch of shit and then having to wait potentially days for a download. I mean I would do this for something like Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (which I bough on Steam recently) because I can sink dozens if not hundreds of hours into it. For COD MW2 I'd probably spend more time downloading than I would actually playing it! There is a case to be made for using uncompressed files, they increase the file size but they also (at least in theory) reduce the workload on the CPU resulting in better performance. However, I don't think this is what Acti-Blizzard had in mind with this practice. In this case it's a combination of laziness and greed.
  22. I think we should just remove the app store from gaming.
  23. I don't know if your just trolling, chasing clout or trying to attract internet traffic for some cryto-farming bullshit.... but this have gone on long enough. Nothing you post or even send in PM's (which you have done to me and assumedly others) has any relevance to anything.
  24. Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing has to be up there, almost nothing in the game seems to work as intended!
