  1. I've seen it happen, it's not something you can realistically expect to do intentionally, it's down to luck.
  2. I know that's a piss-take, but that would actually be fucking awesome!
  3. If this is from a racing game in the same vain as the titles that @Shaggermentioned above then it must be a very early example because it looks primitive even compared to F-Zero on the SNES: Hell, Google lens thinks the second image is of a Giraffe! I'm not kidding!
  4. I think I've made my point but just for shits and giggles here's another example which I think is actually even more laughable: This teenager brought his MacBook Air into Louis after getting a quote of $1200 from the Apple store. That was the combined cost replacing the screen, motherboard and GPU. The GPU, which they said was around $400, the MacBook Air runs of the integrated CPU graphics. In other words..... THEY WANTED TO CHARGE HIM FOR A REPLACEMENT PART THAT WAS NEVER EVEN THERE!!!!!!!! Now that would be more than enough scum but if you can possibly comprehend it, it gets even worse. It turned the actual fault was corrosion on a connector between a magnetic sensor and the board that indicates whether or not the screen is open or closed. The faulty cable was turning the screen the screen off while the MacBook was open. I looked up the cost of this cable and as of right now (might have been different back then) it's around $5 refurbished. So Apple wanted to charge this kid $1200 to replace two major parts that had nothing wrong with them and another that wasn't even there, all because this one part that would cost $10 max to replace had a little corrosion on it but you what the most disgusting thing is? If they had actually charged for and carried out the repair that they quoted him, replacing the logic board, screen and "GPU", it wouldn't have actually solved the problem! They would replaced the board and the screen, reconnected them using the same connector and it have still had the exact same fault it came in with! Unbelievable!
  5. I don't know, I Latinix (just as word) sounds sounds like some kind of bowl medication. Like Gas-X or Ex-Lax. How many words do we need for this sorta thing?
  6. As a Scotsman to tell the truth I'm not really bothered. It's like wearing a Tuxedo to the Wacken Heavy Metal Festival. It's a little ridiculous but ultimately harmless.
  7. Trick or treat So America, arguably the country the most obsessed with this holiday, has only been officially celebrating it for 102 years? That's friggin insane!
  8. I've never played any of the Bayonetta games and I wasn't likely to play this one either.... even before it turned out the original voice actor was offered the frankly pathetic sum of $4000 to reprise her iconic role. As Jim Stephanie Sterling correctly points out this is not a problem isolated to this one game but the industry as a whole. It's ridiculous how little voice actors in games a compensated for their time and talent compared to film and TV when the contribution is exactly the same if not more.
  9. Long story short your mouse appears to be.... fucked. It could be a software issue but that seems incredibly unlikely. I'd try using another mouse.
  10. I don't know what the fuck those pictures are about but... Descent maybe?
  11. Your trying to give them credit "trend setting" but none of these "trends" are for the benefit of the end user. This company is so fucking avarice that they make the likes of EA and Activision-Blizzard look like fucking charities. Every aspect of every single one of their products are designed from the ground up to leech as much money from thier customer base as possible. The manipulative marketing, the overpricing, the proprietary connectors/accessories and their continued denial of right to repair. The worst thing is they have successfully manged to hook their consumer base to such an extreme extent that they will applaud their inferior, overpriced products and worse than non-existent customer service. You seen the Louis Rossmann video I posted right? The woman brought her MacBook to an Apple store because it wasn't charging properly and they told her that the pins on the battery connection were bent and they would have to replace the logic board the cost of $425... both of these were flat out lies! The pin's weren't bent, it was just loose and even if they were at worst it's the battery that needs replaced, not the board! Why are they lying? Simple, Apple would have replaced the board (probably with one they got from some other poor sap through this disgusting practice) then put hers in another "broken" MacBook and sell to somebody else They are discussing! This not an isolated incident either, they pull this kind of shit all the time. Check out the guys channel, he set up shop close to an Apple Store and it's packed to the brim with stories like this.
  12. You clearly haven't read the OP and consequently didn't have an adequate understanding of what the OP was looking for advice about when you made your post. They were asking about setting a Laptop with a desk and chair in a small space, not the PC itself. Your making a lot of posts but your not making a good contribution if your not responding what other users are actually saying.
  13. Trick or Treat, Beat the Meat, Have a Bite to eat. I'll Take the piss, have at this, I might be into feet.
  14. Just as a friendly reminder, if you do not wish to continue and be charged for your subscription to Ubisoft's premium service you need to cancel NOW!
  15. I'd call mine Creaky. Sorry @DC this topic is now officially hijacked and all about what you would call your pet watcher!
  16. They don't exist, their MLM cryptocurrency scams.
  17. I might have quoted some lines from Blazing Saddles.....
  18. The Special Edition is fine on the Switch, it's the extra 6Gb of content along with the extra scripts and memory usage that comes with the Anniversary Edition's Creators Club content that seems to be causing the problems.
  19. I'm sorry but, how exactly is this a good move? It's just apple being anti-consumer and removing a feature... again! The only ones that benefit from this are the greedy ass telecommunication companies that for years have trying to monopolize and make it all but impossible for customers to have any other choice. I'll bet right now that the IPhone 14 is going to be limited to one carrier in almost every US state with minimum 24 month contracts and that's assuming they ever let you switch carriers even after the contracts up, because the SIM card tray is gone and so there's fuck you can do about it. Apple is genuinely one of the worst companies out there when it come to consumer rights and choice. You need their proprietary and ridiculously overpriced chargers and cables which don't even ship with the damn products if you want to fast charge. Their so bad that here in Europe the EU had to step in and force them to adopt USB Type-C and ditch Thunderbolt in their future products if they want to sell them here. As for right to repair? HA! They purposefully design their phones so that they only work with the components that they are shipped with. For example, if the camera in you iPhone breaks you can't replace it with the camera from any other phone even if it's the exact same model that rolled the same production line on the same day. So you have no choice but to take to back to them where they will charge an extortionate amount even it's just a loose connection that takes about 5 minutes of labour to fix. Don't believe me? See for yourself: Their entire business model is ripping people off and they keep applauded for it! Sorry to rant here but it genuinely infuriating what this company gets away with.
  20. In case you needed any more proof that isn't fucking worth it, check this out! https://metro.co.uk/2022/10/06/you-have-to-spend-1750-to-get-a-free-game-with-playstation-stars-17518856/ In the US you get 1 point for every 10 cents you spend, or 10 points per dollar. Right now a for a full priced $70 game like The Quarry requires 17,500 points. So to get the Quarry just on points you would have to spend $1,750 or 25 full priced games! A typical user would probably take about 5 or 6 years to get that much, this generation will most likely be done with by then. It's just like that dumb supermarket Clubcard crap where you get a tiny percentage back in store credit to get you spend there rather than anywhere else, but all it takes is for just one game you wanna play to be available on a service like XBox Game Pass or 2 at half price in a sale in that same period of time for you to be clearly better of just doing it that way. This is just stupid.
  21. For me this hasn't really worked out very well. The ironically named Ubisoft Connect constantly disconnects which kicks me out of any game I'm playing on the service. I've managed to play a little bit of Immortals Fenyx Rising and Assassin's Creed Valhalla but I'm quite content to cancel my subscription to this and use another service like Game Pass instead which has some of these games and seems to have a more consistent connection. I might even just buy these games at a sale price and not have to deal with such a strict DRM.
  22. In MGS2 when he was introduced there were 2 major problems: Number 1: All the promotional material including the playable demo only ever showed Snake. When the game came out and the fans realized they played most of the game as some other character many of them felt like they were mislead. Number 2: In my opinion definitely the much bigger issue, Raiden was a whiner! He spend most of MGS2 in his codec moaning and complaining! This didn't exactly warm him up to fans very well. I get what Kojima was going for with the guy, he wanted the to see snake from the perspective as a mentor, someone to look up and aspire to. It worked fine for Snake but it made Raiden look like such a bitch! He clearly knew he fuck up because fixed it in MGS4 by making Raiden... pretty much the exact opposite to what he was.
  23. I'm a little ambivalent about this. One one hand 2K are essentially copying her art and using in paid entertainment products. In most other circumstances it's a clear violation of copyright. That being said, I also think it's kinda petty on the part of the artist. The art is permanently inked on Randy Orton's body who obviously agreed to have his likeness used in the games. Assumably he paid for the tattoos so isn't it up to him where they can and cannot be displayed right? It's kinda sad now that fans won't get the true likness of Randy Orton in future games. I think the main point to come out of this is that this situation and conditions need to be made more clear in the future.
