Do you like having control over what your followers wear?

I like dressing up my followers in aesthetically pleasing ways, but I also find it kind of weird, as I’d rather treat them like people than dolls. Do you like having full control over what your followers wear? Why or why not?

I feel similarly, I like giving them cool outfits but also treat them with respect. You see so many people give completely inappropriate outfits to their in game characters. I just can't do that, well maybe temporarily for kicks, but not for the whole duration of the game. So I try to find a balance between eye candy and preserving their dignity

I rarely care about how my character looks like in games, which means pretty much the same to whoever helps/follows me, all i care about are their dialogues/lines and how they interact with the main character

Most definitely - In Skyrim, I tend to dress my followers in certain clothes to represent their specialties. For instance, I'll dress my fire mages in Red tribunal robes (This is a Skyrim mod btw) and the head of the fire mages wears a gold mask and crown while the others wear another color like silver for instance.

The mission that we are to take up would determine if it would work on their costume. But if the costume won't be of any negative effect to the mission, then I wouldn't care about it.
