skyfire Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 I think having the windows adjusting the brightness automatically can be pretty good.
Heatman Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 Definitely, it's far more better that way because the eyes are very sensitive and too much light rays to it affects it badly.
skyfire Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Android has an interesting function as I mentioned the digital wellbeing which makes it easy to use the night mode.
Heatman Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Yeah - it's actually one of the perks that comes with Android phones that makes me love them a lot as well.
skyfire Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Yes compared to the apple phones the features that Android is pumping out is lot bettter.
Heatman Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 It's really why I'm finding it very difficult to leave using Android for iPhone. Yes, the security of iPhone is great but I simply love android features better.
Head_Hunter Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Android is more user-friendly to me than iOS phones. I just find it so easy to use than iOS features. When it comes to adjusting to brightness I reduce it, so it wouldn't hurt my sight.

Yes the expensive iphone is not worth it. besides it's more like chase for status quo instead of the userful device usage.
Syntax Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 I adjust my brightness to make it dimmer at night yes, however night mode I’ve never used since it changes the screen tint to a more orange-ish white compared to a blue-ish white that is normally seen during the day.
skyfire Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Windows 11 seems to have a way to do this but they may not be shipping the final update as they want external apps to take care of this part.
StormyFire Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I used to use Flux to control the brightness of my screen based on the time of day, but that became a bit much for me. I usually just have a constant brightness setting these days. It may not be the best for my eyes or sleep or whatever, but it is what it is. ^^

Does Windows 11 have this feature for their smartphone or is it strictly for the laptop/PC 💻?
skyfire Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Windows no longer runs on smartphone. It is PC only now.
