Has anyone here ever regretted a preorder so much you won’t preorder again?

Since I know I can get the game directly from any online store when it is officially released while the haste to pre-order? that's not my thing, I wouldn't consider pre-order anyway.

Yeah - There was a time when games pre-order is worth it but it's not anymore. So, avoiding it is very necessary.

It was worthy before for a pre-order when the devs were simply after quality foremost and not putting money in front.

Currently now I don't see such worthy anymore since video game devs are simply looking for the money and not building games impressing me to release it's required amount to purchase it.

Exactly - and it's actually why you hardly see many gamers taking up games pre-order seriously right now as all prefer to wait it out.

No one wants to risk his or her funds when you know their are plenty sites impersonating, trying to sneak in and steal your funds. I just prefer waiting for it's official release, then buying from recognized stores online or offline.

Their is no need pre-ordering when their is many online stores to buy after one week of the game launch.

Since the online market is saturated with lots of scammers, they might simply create a fake store and claiming they ate selling the original PS5 or other new generation consoles, waiting for gamers to deposit money for them to sneak away with.

Gamers are still pre-ordering PS5 console since it's mostly out of stock. They simply wants to get it when it comes back on stock before others snap it off.

Not everyone love such, even if PS5 console is out of stock. Some would simply wait for it to come back in stock for them to buy instead of pre-ordering to get it faster.

Seriously, it's never a wise decision to pre order games. It never goes well. I actually wanted to pre order Call of Duty Vanguard but later changed my mind.

When you know you don't have much of the funds, you shouldn't bother pre-ordering, you should simply reserve the risk, and buy when it becomes rapidly available.
