The Blackangel Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 We got the Series X today. @Rain Dew has been wanting one like crazy, and we found a preowned one at GameStop. Iy was a hell of a deal too. The only issue I really have with it is the weight. THAT DAMN THING WEIGHS A FREAKING TON! I’ve never seen a console weigh so much. I thought the PS5 was heavy, but it’s nothing compared to the X. It looks like a concrete block and weighs about the same.
Demon_skeith Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Congrats! But the system is only 10 pounds, are you sure there isn't anything wrong or added to it? God knows what has happened to a used system.
The Blackangel Posted October 2, 2022 Author Posted October 2, 2022 To someone in my situation, 10 pounds is a lot. Besides, I've never heard of a system weighing anywhere near that much.

Ajibusu Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Big congratulations on getting the Xbox X. I don't have much to say about the weight since my cousin got one and got used to using a bigger bag to carry it whenever he is going on a trip that will take long.
Justin11 Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 The weight doesn't matter much, provided the quality is amazing for games. Big congratulation for landing an Xbox X, cheers, enjoy your time playing X games.

Justin11 Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 We got the Xbox series X and luckily we didn't get to spend much on it since it was practically gifted to us and we only got to pay for shipping.
Shortie Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 That is super awesome that you have been able to pick one up! I have yet to pick one up myself but that is more in regard to the fact I haven't had the funds to purchase one yet rather than just not finding them in stock. I did wonder whether the Series X was heavy or light in weight as it does seem to carry a lot for how compact the console does look. I don't think I would be too worried myself about the weight as long as the console played how I needed it to and played to the extent it should with the quality of games. I right now have the Xbox One X and that one is a little on the heavier side compared to the Xbox One S that was released which I know is down to it having more in the console.
The Blackangel Posted October 29, 2022 Author Posted October 29, 2022 The Series X is in no way compact. If you want an idea of its size, go look at a concrete block. It's only slightly smaller than that, but still pretty damn close.
