Knight Barida Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 I am the type that prefers RPGs games. I mean, I want to feel like the firepower man who is controlling a lot of ammunition. That is definitely what keeps me going whenever that I am playing that kind of game. I've found a love for beautiful open worlds, also psychological horror. HowHammerYou Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 I used to be heavily into JRPGs, but now I tend to play more WRPGs as most of the big JRPG series have crashed and burned by this point, and the genre as a whole keeps moving further away from what it used to be. Otherwise, I prefer co-op games like Monster Hunter, etc. I'm an extremely chill and laid-back gamer. I don't play PVP too much. I actually played some Monster Hunter: World today. It's the first time in over a year - I remember playing Monster Hunter with my friends on the PS Vita. Good times. I want to work my brains to play the games that I play. I need to go watch some videos on YouTube as well to be able to play those games and that is the fun that I get from playing games such as Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem. Yea, I started with World, but Rise is my favorite, since it has all of my favorites: Mizutsune, Nargacuga, Velkhana, Anjanath, and a hard choice between Amatsu and Valstrax. They're both fun. I am very much looking forward to Wilds. As long as it has 2 of my favorite monsters, I'm happy. Mizutsune is my #1 fave, but I'm hoping that they finally bring back ALL FOUR of the fated together. Lol Anjanath is my favorite and it's always fun to battle it. Ravenfreak Posted May 4 Share Posted May 4 My favorite genres are platformers and RPGs. I prefer turned based RPGs to hack n slash ones. I don't mind hack and slash, though I can get overwhelmed playing games in the genre since I struggle to come up with the best possible way of defeating bosses. Turned base gives me more time to process the strategy I'm going to use. I'm also more fond of 2D platformers but I like 3D ones as well. Of course I prefer Sonic to any other franchise, so fast paced platformers are more fun than slower ones IMO. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
