Uhhh, I dunno, it looked way too much like a Souls game to sell me. Yeah yeah, I know, that's the point but..It was supposed to stand out on its own too right?

It’s way more than a title that simply “looks like a Souls game.” Each their own, though. Everyone’s different. But I adored it. Best game I’ve played this gen.

Cameron Taylor Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 If we're not specifically referring to PlayStation exclusives, then I definitely feel like the two monumentally successful games that Rockstar has released should be up there on this list. GTA V might have first been released on the PS3, but the PS4 version is far better. I really don't know if there is a video game more popular that GTA V these days. Then there's Red Dead Redemption II, which was released a few months ago. The gameplay of this one is incredible! In general, Rockstar always does an amazing job with these games.

skyfire Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 I think recent voting on the God of War made it a game of the year for PS. And considering the gameplay evolved over the years, it may as well be game for PS all device versions. There are few others like shadow of colossus etc but GOW wins.
Mushmellow Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 I have to say Red Dead Redemption 2. That is the most epic game ever! Everything in that game is very detailed and beautiful. Everything is amazing! Everything has life! I don't think other games can even be compared to RDR2.

Oliver Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I doubt highly that this gen is "basically over." Games will still be coming out for the PS4 even 2 to 3 years after the PS5 releases. I mean, Persona 5 was released on the PS3 too.
