ARx182 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) If you could remake a classic game, what would it be? Think as far back as possible, a game that you really liked as a kid and you think a remake would do well even today. Personally, I'd love a remake of GTA San Andreas. I'm sure most people will agree. What a game. Edited June 10, 2020 by ARx182
The Blackangel Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I honestly wouldn't remake any games. I'm coming from the early/mid 80's, and the charm of games from back when I was a kid is the graphics and gameplay. So there's little to nothing that I would change. The only thing that's even in the realm of possibility, would the control configuration on a game. But off the top of my head, I can't think of any.
Shagger Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I think Golden Axe has potential, at least from the version of SEGA that has a clue, and not the SEGA that made this unholy abomination; Reality vs Adventure 1
skyfire Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 I'd remake Contra and turn it into FPS style game. Current remake is pretty much like Zelda meets contra style which is horrible. Reality vs Adventure 1
TheSteelyardDweller Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 i want another version of that NES game where u ride around jousting on ostriches or something like that? can't remember exactly
Reality vs Adventure Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I don't think anyone is smart enough to remake a good Contra. Just like Gi Joe, they keep making new ones for a baby audience. Contra was my favorite games on Nintendo. And Golden Axe, oh watch out. Let's see em try.

They did remake the contra recently and it is really really bad.
