Empire Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I'm still old enough, and back in those days, I was young to be around. The early 90s and till the easy early 2000s when it stopped or slowed right down. Around that time I wasn't involved as I was just way too young to even be dealing with that. However in my Tafe years when studying, we (class of three people LOL) we decided to get old PCs put together (around 4) and set up a lan network so that we can play games on the lan LOL We had internet on the main PC as a mother PC and then it sent data to the other PCs
skyfire Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 This year being pandemic year. I don't think anyone can have old days of Pizza, coke and the gaming party. I miss those days. These days at the most we can invite people for the games and that is all there is to it.
killamch89 Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Ah yes! the good old days before all the internet completely exploded into what it is right now. I remember doing this in the early 2000s in high school. Our favorite LAN party game was Unreal Tournament.

Heatman Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Of course yes, it's something that I do once in a while especially when I'm very disposed to attend the LAN party. It offers a great gaming interactive session that you can't easily get at home.
